Throughout my entire life I have made a collection of many fond memories. Of those fond memories one in particular sticks out, my senior year during baseball season. I have played baseball since I was six years old and my senior season was by far the best of them. Memories were not only made on the field but also off of it, making us not only teammates but brothers. The memories I made with that team will forever be implanted into my mind and something that I will carry with me for the rest of my life
My earliest memory of reading comes from my K-3 class where we read simple little books at our desks with small sentences like “The horse is large” or “The chicken is red.” They were for us to practice recognizing our colors, animals and sizes. Now I know sitting in a classroom reading is not what every three-year-old was doing, but it was a Christian private school named Bethel Christian Academy that prided themselves on their early readers who would eventually grow up to skip grades and send their
My favorite memory outside is my annual camping trip Labor Day weekend at Lamoine State Park. Lamoine State Park is located just outside of Bar Harbor and Ellsworth. This is my favorite memory because ever since I was five or six years old my family started the tradition of going on camping trips. Now as I am 19 years I still look forward to this trip every year with the rest of my aunts and uncles. Each week was jam packed with different activities to do considering the campground was right on the
not ice, meaning that we run, and our season is never over. Playing hockey is my favorite thing to do, and I have so many fond memories. Some of those memories are, playing hockey at Bill’s Golfland, U.S.A. Ball Hockey Tryouts, and playing at Penn Hills Dek Hockey. I started playing hockey about three or four years ago, and I soon grew to love the sport. I started out at Bill’s Golfland in Rostraver, where I met my first coach, Craig Bonari. At first I played in the inhouse league, where there

are some of my favorite memories. Sharing this with my family and friends are really important to me. The Christmas season gives me a chance to get into the holiday spirt. Being able to participate in holiday traditions makes the Christmas season more enjoyable. In the meantime, as a child, my family would decorate the house for Christmas. Growing up, I have three siblings. All of us really enjoy helping our mom get ready to decorate. Decorating helps us to feel the love of the season. My mom enjoyed
Everyone who exists on this planet is comprised of memories, both positive and negative. Memories can make you smile while you reminisce on joyous occasions, or they can cause you to wallow in great sadness. I personally prefer to dwell on my positive memories, the memories that deliver me into a state of complete euphoria. Out of all the memories I do possess however, the one that brings me the most joy and is my favorite recollection is the time that my family and I went to Walt Disney World in the
restaurants, and everything else. Personally, Walt Disney world never loses its magic. Going on a trip to Walt Disney World is like traveling into a world of imagination with its delectable foods, electrifying attractions, and its ability create memories that will last for a lifetime. Walt Disney World has a plethora
One of my best childhood memories would probably be a Thanksgiving memory. Every Thanksgiving my Dad’s side of the family has a cookout at my Nana’s house. It always smells like fresh, homemade cooking. Most of the time it is only my Nana cooking. On this specific Thanksgiving, I don’t exactly remember the year, but it was the best Thanksgiving we have had. I think all of my Dad’s side of the family that was alive was there. That is why it was the best Thanksgiving we have had. Mainly because of
heartwarming, memories and joy. The aroma of the food always brings a smile to my face. Christmas is the most wonderful time in the world. Christmas and Thanksgiving are all about love and being able to give back. Both of the holidays are the most celebrated holidays in the United States. My two favorite holidays are Thanksgiving and Christmas because it unites family from different parts of the world together and the homemade food brings back the fun and touching memories. One of my favorite holidays
Washington. My family loved taking photos, they loved capturing memories. we have a ton of pictures in our house, a ton of when we were kids and growing up. We also have a lot of videos and home videos. Their love of capturing moments and capturing memories definitely influenced and made me love it too. Where did you grow up? I grew up with my family always taking photos, of everything, all the time. I think I started taking photography in art form my freshman year of college. My friend Nelson
ld. 7. Fear memories: A phobia is an irrational fear about certain objects, features or animals that is out of proportion to the existing circumstances. Thus, Ornithophobia, or the fear of birds makes me extremely uncomfortable around birds. I am not sure where this phobia actually came from as I was never attacked by a bird. It could have been because my mom was enthralled with Alfred Hitchcock and I did see the movie, The Birds, on several occasions. I can't see what's out there and I feel unprotected
read. Throughout my life, I have had many positive memorable moments with reading, both in school and at home. During elementary school, my school had a program where you could sign up to be a librarian for a day. I promptly signed up and was thrilled when it was finally my turn, as I was able to spend the entire day in the library, reading books, reading to other classes, and helping the librarian with their duties. My school also had a reading day, and this was by far my favorite day of the year
the smell of a home cooked, southern meal? My all-time favorite meal is my grandma’s fried pork chops with fresh green beans, rice and gravy on the side, and her famous chocolate cake for dessert. Everytime I go to Charleston to visit my Grandma, she bakes me a chocolate cake because she knows I like them so much. Ever since a young age, I have always loved chocolate. There is an old photo of me sitting on the bare, wooden floor in a hallway at my Grandma’s house. In the picture, I was wearing
winding dirt road in the heart of Lulaton, Georgia sits my Mema’s old house; the birthplace of many treasured childhood memories. From catching my first fish in the backyard pond to lounging around talking with loved ones all day, there are many reasons her home will always be apart of me. While she is no longer with us today, her house is still the place that hosted many of my fondest memories and I will cherish them forever. To others, my Mema’s house is just another home sitting at the end of
was younger, my parents would take us to Disney World almost every year. There was always excitement and I always felt like butterflies were flying around in my stomach from the joy. There was so much anticipation that built up when we would stand in an enormous group of people, at 7:00 in the morning, waiting for them to open up the gates. All the little kids, including me, would scream their heads off like wild banshees and race like cheetahs to their favorite rides. One of my favorite rides was the
Halloween has always been my favorite holiday and each year brings new experiences that make me love it even more. My first memory of Halloween is the costume I went out trick or treating with my grandmother, who lived 500 miles away. She made me a homemade costume that I wish I still had today. The costume was supposed to be a butterfly. It was purple with butterfly-like markings on the body, wings and antennas, and it engulfed my small, child-size body the second I put it on. I remember hating
Recalling a favorite childhood place is not an easy endeavor for a person of my temperament. Through a hazy memory instances and occurrences come fleeting through my mind like clouds floating across a colored sky. I can recall happy memories, and sad ones. Both are there, only their shapes differ; clouds too offer up different shapes. My problem lies in the actual choosing of a place that I can call favorite. Many different places come to mind, but each one has to be ruled out, for always some glitch
Memories are so very important. They make up your life and they make you, well you. Nobody will have the exact same memories as you do! Rather it is memories with your friends or family, good ones to bad ones, they make a difference in the way we act and live! My favorite memory is actually very recent. Last summer my basketball team and I went to Virginia Beach for a national tournament! It was the MayB National Tournament and teams from all over the country would be there. And there we were just
flew by with many good and bad memories but how do I choose just one or even a few. Well today I will write about 3 of my favorite memories throughout middle school. I will miss the teachers, all the friends I've made, and all of the after school activities . Over the past 4 years I have had a big number of teachers and I would not go back to change them for anyone. One of my most inspiring teachers would have to be Mr.Blasko my 8th grade math teacher. He was also my soccer coach and he always had
