Don’t be scared to say no, taking on more tasks can trigger you to get stressed. I myself take on extra responsibilities without thinking the impact it will have on my own workload, need to learn to prioritise my own work, need to be assertive and advise I am unable to carry the work at this time.
Manage your time better, if you plan your day when you start for the day, you will feel better about the day ahead which result in you not getting stressed.

Some effects that can result from stress in the work place are; poor job performance, low morale in the office, and insalubrious employees. Reciprocally, elevated stress levels in an organization are associated with increased turnover, absenteeism; sickness, and reduced productivity. At a personal level, work stressors are related to depression, anxiety, general mental distress symptoms, heart disease, ulcers, and chronic pain (Sauter, Hurrell, & Cooper, 1989).
Many people think of stress as a simple problem. In reality however, stress is complex and often misunderstood. We all know that stress is the body’s reaction to any demand on it. Perceptions of events, whether positive or negative, activate stress. It is, therefore, a highly individual affair. What is stressful to ‘X’ may not be so to another. But it is fairly easy to conclude that everyone lives under a certain amount of stress. In fact, the only people without stress are dead. At the same time it is certainly wrong to conclude that stress is always bad. Mild stress may improve the productivity. It may force people to focus more sharply on the problem and produce solutions. Time management is a very important skill for all employees. Many employees find themselves frustrated with their workload and this often leads to stress as they try to catch up on tasks that they have not managed to complete.
People while at work are often under psychological pressure. In the "risk group" fall supervisors and managers, people who work with clients, secretaries, salesmen, teachers and indeed, almost any job - the source of stress. There are many different parts to time management, such as procrastination, strategy, organization, expectations and being prepared. All of them contribute equally in many ways. The best thing to do when it comes to time management is to set a strategy, become organized and do your best to avoid procrastination. A person who manages their time well can benefit from an organised, manageable workload with enough time to complete the jobs and tasks that are of any importance.
