Harry Potter is not a normal boy. He lives with his aunt and uncle and his cousin because his parents were murdered by the most powerful dark lord, Lord Voldemort. He attends a school for wizards called Hogwarts and learns about spells, potions, the dark arts, and etc. Non-magic people are called Muggles and the Muggles are completely oblivious to this world.
In the third book of the Harry Potter series, it starts on Harry’s birthday with Harry lying in his room receiving an owl post from his friends. The next morning Harry hears about a man named Sirius Black and that he escaped from a prison. While this goes on, Aunt Marge comes to visit the Dursleys. Harry accidentally causes his aunt to inflate and then runs away to the Knight Bus. But before he gets on the bus Harry sees a large, black dog. The bus drops him off by Diagon Alley and is awaited by Cornelius Fudge, the Minister of Magic. Harry spends the rest of his summer here before going back to Hogwarts.
When Harry is on the train to Hogwarts with his two best friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, the train suddenly stops. The lights start to go out and the train becomes very cold. A Dementor has stopped the train. This causes Harry to faint and Professor Lupin revives him. The next day Harry has his first class, Divination. His teacher, Professor Trelawney, sees a Grim in the bottom of Harry’s cup. The Grim stands for death. His classes then carry on as usual for a little while. Then on Halloween night, Sirius Black breaks into the castle in search of Harry but doesn’t find him. After the holidays, Harry gets trained to fight the Dementors because they affect him the most. They affect him the most because of his past.

Hermione Granger is Harry’s other best friend. She is a very smart wizard, a know it all and has brown, curly hair. Hermione is a Muggle-born wizard which means both of her parents don’t have magical powers. Her life revolves around school. Whenever she is not in class, she is either studying, doing homework, or she is in the library reading.
Overall I think this is a great book. I would recommend this book to others but you would have to read the first two books before this one. I would recommend this book because it has a great story line and there is never a dull moment.
Distinguished within the film as the Muggle World versus the Wizarding World, the Muggle World is the society that non-wizards reside. Although both on planet Earth, the separation was made to distinguish what type of people live in each world, as well as to keep the idea of wizards confidential from non-wizards. After the death of his wizarding parents from a dark magical force, Harry was placed in the Muggle World with the only family he had left by high powered allies of his parents. Illustrated within the film, Harry’s identity is initially made for him through his relocation in the Muggle World. Columbus illustrates this through the conversation of the allies, Dumbledore and McGonagall. “‘This boy will be famous. There won't be a child in our world who doesn't know his name’ said McGonagall. ‘Exactly. He's better off growing up away from all that. Until he is ready’” responded Dumbledore (Columbus, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s

The Harry Potter series is a world filled with magic, adventures, and memorable quirky characters. All seven books by J.K. Rowling featuring Harry Potter the young boy wizard with a unique lightening scar and even more remarkable destiny continues to influence and inspire children and adults around the world. Rowling manages to balance humor and darker themes in the children’s books that allows for a wider range of audience to connect with the story. Themes such as death, love, sacrifice, prejudice, and good versus evil are major themes that occur throughout Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Harry has a calm trip back home since he has no immediate danger or enemies pursuing him. He wakes up in dumbledore's office and gets an explanation of his past and inner self. “Your mother died to save you. If there is one thing Voldemort cannot understand, it is love. He didn't realize that love as powerful as your mother's for you leave its own mark. Not a scar, no visible sign...to have been loved so deeply, even though the person who loved us is gone, will give us some protection forever. It is in your very skin. Quirrell, full of hatred, greed and ambition, sharing his soul with Voldemort, could not touch you for this reason. It was agony to touch a person marked by something so good.” Harry returns with the knowledge of the wizard world, gained two very close friends, and overall became a stronger more experienced
Just to quickly run through the two previous books; Harry Potter is a wizard, who’s parents were killed by the worst dark wizard ever known. The reason why Harry Potter is still around, is because Lord Voldemort failed to kill Harry. His spell hit Harry, but then backfired on Voldemort taking all of his powers with him. Harry is so famous for two things. Withstanding the powers of Lord Voldemort, and, taking him back in to the underworld in hiding. In the first book, Harry receives a letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He’s eventually allowed to go, and spends the next six months there learning magic, getting into trouble, and trying to solve mysteries of his past, and the school. In the second book, Harry goes back to his second year at Hogwarts, and gets into more trouble, figures out many astonishing mysteries and learns loads more magic. His best friends in the two books consist of Ron and Hermione (two of his fellow wizard students) and Hagrid the gamekeeper who was expelled from Hogwarts but allowed a job as the gamekeeper.
He will travel suffering hardship and forming friendships in search of his new identity. Harry’s parents were murdered when he was young. He was then taken to a new house by his uncle, where he meets Rubeus Hagrid and his journey begins. While in the bar, The Leaky Cauldron, Hagrid explains to Harry how Voldemort succeeded in murdering his parent but failed in his attempt to murder him. Hagrid further explained “‘...Something about you stumped him that night. That's why you're famous, Harry.’ ‘that’s why everyone knows your name’ ‘you're the boy who lived’”. This quote explains Harry’s past and why everyone knows his name. Harry had always wanted to do something great and to be something greater but his past and present continued to hold him back. Good memories that taught him to keep moving forward replaced the bad memories of the past. This small bit of life shining into his past became the key that opened the door to his
One of the reoccurring events that takes place in the beginning of the book include Harry's desire to hear from his friends. He has gone a couple of months without receiving word, or owl post, from any of his fellow wizards. He is reminded several times that he seems to have no outside friendship from his home. With his encounter with Dobby, the house elf, Harry cannot help but feel left out and unwanted. This feeling is added to by the hatred that his foster family, the Dursley's, share for him. Dudley, Harry's cousin, basically rubs the fact that Harry has no letters from his friends in his face. To add to Harry's unease and loneliness, is the fact that Harry's birthday has arrived with no more acknowledgement. Later, when Dobby casts a spell in the house Harry is blamed by the wizard community, as if it’s his fault. This idea that no one seems to care for Harry is fairly noticeable through the first couple of chapters. The breaking point is when Harry becomes locked in his bedroom, and is fed soup and bread sparingly. This is where Harry's friends rescue him and take him from his misery. Once Harry is rescued he becomes less moody and much happier. This also seems to be a big element in the story. Harry will at times feel like nothing can be worse only to be disproved by some helpful person or situation. Once Harry enters the wizarding world, he is again abandoned, accidentally, and left to his own devices. He ends up in an alley with many people who practice the Dark Arts, or the evil side to magic. Here once again he is rescued from his sad situation by a friend, Hagrid. Looking at what has happened until this point , it is sure to be seen that Harry will find his way out of any dark corner he lands in.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix starts when Harry is with his aunt and uncle. He's been living there ever since Voldemort killed his mother and father.
It has been many years since I thought of my favorite childhood book. It was an interesting part of a series of books. It is pretty well known around the world. The book is called, “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” and was written by Joanne Rowling. She is mostly known by her pen name “J. K. Rowling” and was the author of all the Harry Potter books in the series. While the story in itself is pretty lengthy, I will give a relatively brief summary of the main events in the story. The story continues after “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban”, which was the third part of the series. The main story of the whole series is basically that of a young boy that enters a 7-year wizard school to learn magic and use these newly acquired skills to attempt to defeat the ultimate evil, in the form of a dark wizard named Voldemort. This book focuses on Harry’s fourth year at the wizard school, called Hogwarts.
Harry Potter starts off slow, but gets very interesting near the end. In the beginning, you meet the Dursleys, Harry’s aunt, uncle, and their son Dudley. Then you learn that Harry’s parents were witches, and that they were destroyed by a evil wizard. A good witch, Albus Dumbeldoor, sends Harry to the Dursleys, because they’re his only remaining family. The Dursleys however, hated Harry and his family, so Harry was mistreated for years. He was forced to live in a cuborrod under the stairs. He had to watch as the fat, stuck up Dudley got whatever he wanted, and then usually broke whatever it was he got. Then one day Harry got a letter.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was written by J. K. Rowling and is the seventh and final book in the Harry Potter series. The book is about a seventeen-year-old wizard, named Harry Potter, who has to travel all over England to find things that will help him defeat the evil wizard, Lord Voldomort. The main theme/moral of the entire series is good will always triumphs over evil. In every book, even when it looks like evil is going to win, good always triumphs in the end.
