I believe that if we done research and found true stories on how alcohol and drugs has affected someone’s life and we incorporate that into our performance then we can really connect to the teens in a way that nobody has been able to do so before.
This performance would target age groups 11-16 and school years 7-11 it would meet the national curriculum for science, National drug strategy, PSHEE ( Personal, social health and economic education) as well as the Every child Matters foundation.
Using games, drama and role-play to connect with teenagers is a good way to encourage them to form their own opinions and think for themselves about the topic in question.
It is important for students to know that drugs and alcohol does not have to kill you in order to take away your away your life.
