What reasons did the HSCA have in 1979 for suggesting that President Kennedy was the victim of a conspiracy in 1963? In 1976, the House Select Committee on Assassinations began to reinvestigate the events at the assassination of JFK. A report was published by the committee in 1979 stating that there was a probable conspiracy surrounding Kennedy’s death, contradicting the Warren Commission’s theory. However, the HSCA could not prove that someone other than Oswald may have assassinated the president. What the HSCA could do however, was to prove that there were flaws in the evidence that the Warren Commission used to formulate their theory about Oswald being the lone assassin of JFK. A major part to the Warren Commission’s theory was the three bullet idea, in which the first bullet supposedly passed through Kennedy’s neck and then caused Governor Connally’s three wounds in the chest, wrist and thigh. The bullet that did this damage, often referred to as the “magic” bullet, was later found on Connally’s stretcher, with no trace of blood and almost fully in tact. Attempts that have been made to recreate this situation have proved that it was almost impossible that the bullet could have, firstly, changed direction so many times to make Kennedy and Connally’s wounds and, secondly, remained so undamaged after passing through blood, bone and human tissue. The Zapruder film of the assassination also shows that there were two seconds between Kennedy and Connally being hit, indicating that they were struck by two different bullets. Governor Connally backed this up by saying that he heard a gun shot and then had time to turn around to see where the gun shot came from, before getting hit himself. Connally also said that he was almost cer... ... middle of paper ... ...e, Lynden Johnson became president after JFK’s assassination, so his motive to murder JFK would have been his desire to rule America. It is also known that the Mafia saw Johnson as a much better “friend in the Whitehouse” than JFK, which meant that Johnson could have planned JFK’s assassination with the help of Mafia. However, this is just a hypothesis and cannot be proved, like the HSCA found out when they uncovered the amount of different conspiracies that there could have been surrounding Kennedy’s death. There were too many conspiracies that couldn’t be proved which meant that the HSCA could not pinpoint who exactly did murder JFK. To conclude, judging by the flaws in the Warren Commission’s theory and the amount of people that could have benefitted from Kennedy’s death, the HSCA had good reasons to suggest that JFK could have been the victim of a conspiracy.
In conclusion, Oswald being the lone assassin and the CIA’s involvement are two theories surrounding the mystery behind JFK’s assassination. Oswald has reasonable evidence linking him to the assassination. On the other hand, the CIA had enough motivation to be the cause of the murder. These two theories are both reasonable theories and have evidence backing them up. Though JFK was assassinated, he still lives on within the heart of the U.S., and he lives in spirit of U.S. politics. The mystery behind JFK’s assassination will still be a case
Study these two lists and explain whether you think Oswald was planning to kill Kennedy. Personally, I think that Oswald assisted in killing JFK. I do think that the government agencies were in on this and that the two evidence texts were plotted to cause a feeling of not being positive about who killed JFK. But I also do think that the two pieces of evidence serve as a distraction. To confuse the evidence with the evidence.
Kennedy assassination. The single-bullet theory was introduced by the Warren Commission in its investigation of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy to explain what happened to the bullet that struck Kennedy in the back and exited through his throat. The Warren Commission that investigated the Kennedy assassination established that the reactions of Kennedy and Connally happened too close together for two single shots, even from the same gun, to have been accountable for their injuries. In an interview with Piers Morgan Stone said, the single-shooter theory and the "magic bullet" theory "fall apart, if anybody in their right mind looks at it." "It angers me sometimes, to think of the degree of stupidity about Oswald and the Mannlicher-Carcano (rifle) on the sixth floor making these shots. It's almost as if we don't believe what we see with our own eyes in the Zapruder film," Stone
As you can see, the killing of John F. Kennedy was a conspiracy. There is no

The day that President Kennedy was assassinated, people started to view the world differently. His death was the first time that a conspiracy theory transformed into a conceivable form of knowledge among the general public. "It was because of Kennedy's death in Dallas that the conspiracy theory was born" (Wensley). It started with an article written ...
Most people believe that the assassination of JFK was committed by Lee Harvey Oswald however there are many other conspiracies also. Even though his death happened a little over 50 years ago it is one of the most recognized deaths in America. A lot of theories do not make sense however other theories appear to have a valid conclusion. The different conspiracies I will look at in this paper are: New Orleans Conspiracy; CIA Conspiracy; Shadow Government Conspiracy; Military Industrial Complex; Secret Service and LBJ
In 1976, the US Senate ordered a fresh inquiry into the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, who was murdered in 1963 during a motorcade in Dallas, Texas while campaigning for re-election. People who had been involved in the original Warren Commission investigations were asked to make fresh statements. The FBI and the CIA were persuaded to release more of their documents on Oswald. New lines of inquiry were opened and individuals who had not previously given evidence were persuaded to come forward. Most important of all, pieces of evidence such as photos and sound recordings were subjected to scientific analysis using the most up-to-date methods and equipment. The House Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA) completed their investigation in 1979 and they finally came to a discrete verdict that Lee Harvey Oswald fired three shots at Kennedy, one of which killed the president. A fourth shot was fired from the grassy knoll, which was contradictory to the statement printed by the Warren Commission 16 years earlier. They concluded that John Kennedy was assassinated as the result of a conspiracy.
Central idea: The assassination of our 35th president was an inside job that needs to be exposed.
On November 22, 1963 President John F. Kennedy arrived in Dallas to a crowd of excited
Conspiracy is a business that many people thrive on daily for their career. The number of theories associated with the John F. Kennedy assassination should show people that conspirators do not know the truth themselves. If there was one conspiracy that was proven a fact, there would be no need to continue making up others. The conspiracy theories of the assassination of John F. Kennedy do not show enough evidence to be considered fact.
On November 22, 1963, at 12:30 in the afternoon, President John F. Kennedy was shot at and killed while participating in a motorcade in Dallas, Texas. The most important question that arises from this incident is ‘Who killed President John F. Kennedy?’ This is an issue which has been debated by scholars, The Government, and even common people alike. Many people seem to feel that it was a conspiracy, some large cover-up within a cover-up.
The theory of the CIA killing Kennedy is the one theory that many people can’t debunk. Kennedy was fed up with what the CIA was pulling. He found out they were trying to kill Castro, and he didn’t like that. Some people believe that the CIA thought he was going to disband them, which would make him a target (Patterson). Another very hot topic around that time was Kennedy’s failure to support the men of the Bay of Pigs. The CIA was strongly against Kennedy because of these two incidences, which would have given them a motive for the assassination (“The CIA and the FJK Assassination”). There have also been confessions of CIA involvement. In 2007, E. Howard Hunt left behind a confession that he taped. He said that he knew of the plot but
From examining John F. Kennedy’s assassination, many people have come to the conclusion that there was a second party involved in the shooting of the President of the United States. The writers give great theories and facts leading people to believe that the Warren Report was false and later used to cover up the death of John Kennedy. With this great information out to the public it is obvious that the mob was involved with the planning assassination. After, all this evidence it only makes sense that the Warren Report is false, and that the mob was involved the whole time.
Since November 23, 1963, the day after President John Fitzgerald Kennedy was assassinated, there have been speculations as to the happenings of November 22, 1963. Along with the Warren Commission, there are hundreds of conspiracies and theories attempting to explain the assassination of Kennedy. Many people agree with the Warren Commission in that Lee Harvey Oswald acted as the lone gunman, while others maintain that another gunman was involved. Because of extensive evidence, I believe that Oswald did not act alone on November 22, 1963 in the assassination of Kennedy. The additional gunman was strategically placed in the grassy knoll area, in order to shoot at Kennedy from a frontal view (Rubinstein 4).
