Technology has influenced modern life in many ways and with its every advancement; people may find themselves wondering how these things are possible. Wireless devices are in such constant use every day from people in the medical field to the average individual. However, society may eventually suffer adverse effects from the over use of wireless technology devices, even for the purpose of education. While it is not surprising that digital media can take learning experiences to another level, and spark creativity in students as well, this type of learning does not come without great cost. Mark Blankenship, who is a writer for higher education, states that although students who have specific learning needs can learn at their own pace and also bear the responsibility for their own education needs, extra training is needed for the teachers to become more media literate(40.) In addition, oral class participation and sharing will tend to happen less because of the loss o personal contact (Blankenship 41.) However, using the social media in class for some students is not only a valuable way to participate in class but an equally essential tool to prepare for their career (Blankenship 41). Being able to complete tasks in a timely manner is helpful in most professions. Therefore, multitasking has become necessary to keep up with the fast pace that most people face on a daily basis. Having the capacity to attend several things at once is somewhat thought to be a talent until one considers the drawback of how impersonal the outcome can be (Wallis, Cole, Steptoe, & Dale 3). While research proves that the wireless technology is beneficial in the workplace and schools, perhaps the primary concern is its effect on the individual’s interaction... ... middle of paper ... ...going to rot your brain, it is what you are not doing that is going to rot your life.(8) The invention of wireless technology was to improve modern life in many ways; however, the lack of limiting one’s use will make life harder. As we progress deeper into the digital era, we rely more and more on our electronic devices. Over the last decade, almost everyone who lives in a developed nation owns a cellphone and they are becoming an integral part of our life.
The propose research will address a problem confronting many two year institutions in the present-day (i.e. how to best plan, design, and implement WLAN technologies). While WLAN technologies offer the benefits of mobility, reduced installation time, and decreased cost, many challenges must be met by institutions deploying them (Geier, 2005). These issues are related to security, speed, interoperability, and equipment selection, ease of use, reliability, signal interference, installation, and health risks.

· The field of wireless communication has shortened the boundaries between your personal and professional life. There is a thin boundary between your leisure and business travel. People are expected to be connected to their family and business all the time irrespective of whether they are working or not.
Wireless networks come in many configurations and use many technologies. Figure 1 depicts an example of the wireless technologies and standards used for each of the networks types defined above. The figure indicates two major categories of wireless technologies: fixed and mobile. The figure also indicates 10 technologies in use: Bluetooth, irDA, 802.11, IR LAN, IR Bridge, Ricochet, RF Bridge, Cellular, MCS and Satellite. Virtually all of these tec...
“Mr. Watson –come here – I want to see you.” These were the first words that Alexander Graham Bell said to his assistant, Thomas A. Watson, by telephone on March 10, 1876. Because people wanted to communicate, they were happy when telephones were introduced. Right now, most people have cell phones (wireless communication technology) which work by radiofrequency exposure in an electromagnetic field. Because cell phones are very important devices in our lives, people use them a lot .Not only do people use cell phones to communicate, but also they use them to take pictures, to search the internet and to send text messages. As a result, people are spending a lot of time with mobile phones which work in an electromagnetic field. There are several devices that have radiofrequency waves, such as microwaves, TVs, computers, and Laptops. Because people interact with many kinds of devices, and each of them creates radiofrequency exposure, scientists have studied the effects of an electromagnetic field on human health. Even though mobile phones have low–power radiofrequency transmitters, and they are considered non–ionizing radiations which can’t break down to biological tissues, people should be protected from too much radiation. Although studies have shown that there are links between radiofrequency and cancer, mobile phone use is growing. Therefore, it is very important for people to know what to do in order to reduce the risk of wireless communication technology.
As technology increases and develops in this century, the use of social media increases as well. Schools have begun adapting it, using it as their tool to inform students of any school related news. However, using it as a tool for learning is a different story. By using it as a tool, it can push you off your course with classes. Social media is something that is not needed at school grounds. Schools should not require social media use in classes.
The world has gone through a lot of changes as time passes by. With advancements in the technological field, people can communicate with people from around the world without having to even lift a finger. To make things more efficient and more cost-saving, industries have made technology wireless. Wireless technology gives people the chance to get up from their stationary computer, or corded phone and be able to freely move without restrictions. IT, or Information Technology, has become a standard and very critical part of today’s society.
In our present society, people cannot deny that the changes in this world have been tied to the advancement of the technology. It has evolved with this society so deeply where such conveniences are no longer luxuries but rather necessities. Unfortunately, the most affected group of people from the developed technology is the younger age people (Subrahmanyam, 2000). In the past, children were more lively and active: playing outdoors, running around, climbing trees and remaining active rather than watching television and playing video game and computer. It is true that the use of the technology has its own virtue. It provides value, convenience and entertainment, but it should not take the place of movement and realistic play from the children. Obviously, modern technology such as television, digital game, cell phone, and computer should be considered as a major fact, which contributing to negative health problems in children.
Development in technology continues to revolutionize the distribution and form of wireless telecommunication services. New advancements increase telecommunication clarity and speed; web services download and upload rates from the services side of the industry. Further advancements in the increased efficiency of transfer of data also allows for cheaper service rates. This allows for growth...
Technology is unavoidable in our modern lifestyle. You wake up, you use technology; you use technology while cooking, while eating, while driving. While you’re lying in bed before you fall asleep, you use technology, technology wakes you up in the morning. Is all the technology around you good for you, or is it harmful to your health? Was our society healthier or safer before all the advancements? So many questions and concerns about all of the technology we crave, but there are very few people who know the answers. Technology affects all parts of human life. It can create jobs, motivate people to get active, and assist people in learning, but this does not balance out that there are dangers that follow the use of technology.
In today’s wireless communications the technology has come a long way since its beginnings back in the early nineteen hundreds and has become so advance that most countries have their own regulator. In the UK the regulator for wireless standards is called Ofcom which has been established since 2003. In the US the regulator is Federal Communications Commission and has been established since 1934. These regulators govern what frequency band companies can purchase to provide a wireless mobile service to customers.
Introduction: This is a 21th century, technology is the most important and improved thing of the human life. It makes life easier and faster. Development of faster sophisticated technology we have better and fast life. So all we are connect each other by computer network. There are two different way of network: Wired and wireless. Now day we can found network almost everywhere. Home, business, public place, Airport, Planes, hospitals, school, train everywhere we can found networking. Therefore, almost every sector of the economy that has affected by wired and wireless technology. Wired network and wireless protect both has security, But in general wireless network is less secure than wired networks. For proper security AP (access point) and its antenna should be right position. Also add a wireless access point or use a wireless router we can connect to network wirelessly. AS we using more and more of devices (smart phones, tablet and computers) rely on wireless networking, we have to improve our network security too.
In today’s world there is an increasing demand for wireless connectivity. But with the present technology there is an inefficient use of the available. A large part of the spectrum is underutilised as shown in Fig 1. Due to the inefficient use of spectrum by the current spectrum allocation methods there is a need for developing new methods which aids in efficient use of available spectrum.
The popularity of social media is rapidly increasing in the last few decades. This may be due to the students of colleges and universities as well as youth is widely used for global access. Social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook have become a craze for everyone nowadays. In these cases, some students are more concerned about social media or social networks than on teaching by lecturers and will cause affected their academic performance.
