Introduction
In today’s society, technology is something that we see in almost every aspect of our life in some way shape or form. Whether it be for recreational use or work use, technology is present. Technology used to be much smaller than it is today. In the mid-20th century, technological advances began to boom. People in turn realized that computers were the way of the future.
Over time, scientists and computer engineers looked for ways that computers could do tasks that would normally be done by pen and paper. Over time, the world wide web (internet access) and wireless communication took charge in the technological age. Devices such as cell phones, laptops, tablets, and smart phones were invented over the course of time to not only help, but take over some of these tasks that were once done by humans.
With the invention of the world wide web (internet access) and all kinds of wireless communication, it has allowed people to stay connected with friends and loved ones that they don’t see regularly all the time. Gone are the days where you would have to hand write a letter to a cousin that lives out state just so you can stay in touch with them regularly. The question many people ask themselves today is why do I need to write a letter, when I can text somebody on my IPhone 7? In today’s technology, the IPhone 7 is the most top of the line smartphone. The IPhone 7 was introduced to the market on September 16, 2016 and was one of the most advanced IPhones that Apple has released to date. I believe that the target market for this particular product would be anyone from the ages of 13-65. Throughout the course of time, I have seen that these ages are the most common ages that have smart phones. Whether or not they ar...

...p with a retail company like Best Buy and offer a promotion for the IPhone 7. For example, they could do a promotion such as if you mention this Facebook ad when you purchase an IPhone 7 with a cell phone plan, you get 20% off your purchase. Many other companies have done this before and I have seen this work well for those companies.
To conclude, the IPhone 7 is marketed very well. I think that Apple is one of those companies that go above and beyond with their technology. Apple is constantly coming up with innovative and fresh ideas for their company to thrive, flourish, and to make money. Sales will continue to grow on the IPhone 7 and will allow the IPhone 7 to become one of the top selling smartphones in the nation. Apple must continue to compete in the competitive markets they already thrive in if they want to continue to be the company “on top”.
