As the title states, technology and methods of communication used nowadays, has affected students. The question is; Has it made it easier for their academic achievements to be reached and helped them become prepared for their aimed occupational pursuits?

The history of the world, has shown that technology and communication are conjoined. Recognising this today, is not difficult at all. Look around. How do people communicate? How do you? Probably, using the latest tenchological advances such as smartphones and the internet, which have taken communication to a whole new level.
It has significantly changed our lives; the way we work, the way we connect and socialize with eachtoher but most of all; the way we learn.

The following essay will critically analyze and focus on the following matters; Using evidence and statistics, we will identify different technological facilities students commonly use during their educational path and how it helps and harms them when gaining the skills and abilities needed to achieve their long-term career objectives.
We will also discuss relevant information about the contemporary way we communicate with eachother, as an outcome from the proliferation of technology, and the consecuences all of these factors have when applying for a job in the future.

To begin with, remember when the tools used in Elementary School classrooms were squeaky blackboards, chalk and threatening rulers. Times have changed, and instead, today we have smartboards, computers, notepads, e-readers… all of them tailored to interact with students and making their learning experience more dynamic, easier and engaging. This is becoming an issue in society itself. Obviously technology has had a profound impact in the way we communicate with eachtoher. It is so easy from an electronic device, that face-to-face interaction becomes unneccesary and harmful for some individuals. They get used to having their comfort zone behind a screen and find it difficult to maintain conversations and even relationships when it comes to the real world. It can work either to improve meaningful relationships and build new ones or hinder this.
There is also a real debate about addictiveness to technology, which affects both; learning and communicating. Constant internet connection and social networking cause students to become distracted from their work, overly stressed, and even isolated.
