In this day and age, almost everyone is occupied with their daily live, disregarding global, industrial and environmental dilemmas. Whether individuals deliberately choose to abandon this subject, or they genuine lack education, there decisions contribute to food production. Food is served for humans, so if they don't care about its foodways, why should companies? In addition, U.S and global culture’s rapid advancement in technology is reflected in the changing nature of food production and consumption. Due to these advancement, farming industry has changed dramatically over time. In the article, “Eating Animals” ,Jonathan Foer ” In 1930, more than 20 percent of the American population was employed in agriculture. Today it’s less than 2 percent . in 1950, one farmworker supplied every 15.5 consumers. Today it’s one for every 140.”(162) These statistics are depressing because they negatively impact consumers and farmers.
