He showed me how awesome and fun learning can be. So do the qualities of a teacher affect a student’s education and success? In my opinion, I would say yes it does, greatly. A study showed, “In straightforward terms, these residual effects studies make it clear that not only does teacher quality matter when it comes to how much students learn, but also that, for better or worse, a teacher 's effectiveness stays with students for years to come.” (n.d.).
