My perspective as a teacher is that each student is unique and different in every way, which needs a nourishing, loving, caring and secure environment to grow and implement his/her, learning practices. Each student has the right to learn and teacher can act as a promoter. The environment of the class should be suitable for the students to grow and nourish.
The atmosphere can impact students in many ways; these impacts can be good or bad for the student. Environmental factors are very important for a child to develop learning, physical and intellectual skills. The elements which contribute to these factors are, (1) teacher working as a guide and an idol for the students on whom students can always rely on. (2) Students have a need to learn as much as they need air to breathe and survive; a teacher’s job is to fulfill this need of students. (3) As important as teacher’s guidance, a student’s curiosity is also essential to thrive and allows him/her to try new experiences which lead to increase of their knowledge. The old way in whom the teacher spoke or gave lecture has become somewhat primitive, although it is not wise to completely remove the human touch from teaching but reduce it. Digital media plays a very important role in education for examples pictorial representation of a topic can help students better understand the topic (Luft, 2007).
Before implementing technology in the classroom, firstly most important step must be taken to insure that the teachers use this technology rather than just lecturing the students. For example if a teacher says here are three causes take notes, they should say here are the three causes find them using your technology.
