ORIGINATOR OF CELLUAR PHONE REVOLUTION IN INDIA
“I think that people just have this core desire to express who they are...”
Sunil Mittal.
Excellence is vital for acquiring success. Excellence is what makes success run after you, but when you want success, run after excellence.
Very few individuals are there in this globe who made success run after them. Energy, determination and that magical willpower to do something invincible marks the journey of great man through the untraded dark roads to the brightest morning ever. Every successful man has that unique cognizant power to realize all the possible opportunities one have around them.
Sunil Mittal, the man behind the telecoms boom in India. The strong resoluteness and the will to do something drove Sunil’s dream to height like this, where no can easily beat him down. Dreams aren’t possibly those which you see with eyes closed in that imaginative world where wind seems to flow and the moon walks but rather the dreams are those which you see with your eyes wide open, it won’t make you sleep.
Sunil Mittal is often credited as India’s poster boy for entrepreneurship as he has created a phenomenal juggernaut of a company in Bharti Airtel.
Sunil Mittal, India’s poster boy is a big philanthropist. In fact, his name comes across world’s top 25 philanthropists. His vision lies in imparting education to the needy.
This is a bitter truth that apart from being the fastest developing country of the world and attaining so much we are still lagging behind in the field of education. We hold on to having the most number of illiterate of the world. Every two out of five illiterate is from India.

“We are talking to all world majors” ...one heard Mittal saying these lines once.
It’s through this tough phase, when India was using rotary phones with no speed dials or no re-dials, Sunil saw those push button phones, instantly he thought of replacing the rotary phones and introducing the push button telephones in the Indian market. Sunil sensed his chance and started importing the new gen phones from Taiwan.
By the starting of 1990s, Mittal was successfully making fax machines, cordless phones and other telecom gears. In 1992, Mittal clinched a deal with the French Telecom group Vivendi.
If someone wants to succeed in life and stay recognized by superiors, then he or she ought to appear hardworking. A person begins with setting goals. There are two categories, the first, “be” goals and the second, “do” goals. In other words, ask yourself, "What to be?" or "What to achieve?" Four categories of goals consist of wealth, health, relationships, and self-fulfillment which equal success. Working diligently to finish a task demonstrates how to live a successful life. Given these points, Thomas Edison, Helen Keller and Harriet Tubman, all exceptional achievers, found that prosperity undoubtedly comes along for everyone who perseveres.
Motorola developed and introduced the 'flip phone' with the MicroTAC and the 'clam phone' with the StarTAC in the mid-90s. The RAZR model gave it unprecedented success selling over a 110 million units, but with the emergence of other players, and grossly over relying on the Razr and its derivatives, it lost significant market share in the
Nearly everyone has the desire to be successful in their lives, whether it be measured in the amount of wealth a man owns or the accomplishments he has made in his life. Therein lies the most common, the success in a man's profession. There are multiple approaches to this connotation of success where a wide range of techniques can be applied. One might think that the only way to reach a particular level of success is to take on a competitive nature and achieve that coveted position of number 1. However, being competitive does not necessarily insure that a person is ‘successful.’ They must be competent in their field to reach the top spot. An example of these two sides can be found within Arthur Miller’s Death of A Salesman using the characters Willy and Bernard.
Success isn’t always so easy. Sometimes there are risks and factors that play along to allow for growth. However; personal development is a lifelong process. It’s a way for individuals to assess their skills and qualities, and consider their aims in life to set goals in order to maximise their potential. In order to receive the best outcome; there may need to be obstacles and challenges in the way to prevent an easy route to reach the top in success.
Effectively, success does not just happen. It is made to happen, especially through chasing personal dreams and aspirations. It is also made to happen when we consciously pursue our purposes in life, particularly guided by our own inborn abilities. We should never be discouraged by our heritage or cultural backgrounds. We should not even be worried about lack of opportunities. Pursuing our passion will certainly lead us into exploiting our full potential, as we contribute to the improvement of the welfare of humanity. Alongside, we will get what we rightly deserve – invaluable rewards.
Cell phone technology dates all the way back to 1947. “In that year researchers first developed ideas as to the possibility of creating mobile phones that used "cells" that would identify a user in whatever specific region he or she was initiating the call from” (Cell Phone World). Still the technology was very limited at the time, so much more extensive research was required. In 1968 private companies started getting involved with cell phone development, such as AT&T. The FCC (The Federal Communications Commission) then opened new frequencies and the private companies had the theory of cellular towers. Each tower would be responsible for a particular region. When a customer traveled farther a way from one region it would switch the call to a closer tower with no interruption. In 1977 public cell phone testing had begun. People in Baltimore, Chicago, and Washington were the first to be eligible for cell phone trials. In 1979 a company in Japan began doing cell phone testing with the public. Not until 1983 were cell phones really available. “The year 1988 changed many of the technologies that had become standard in the past. The Cellular Technology Industry Association was created to set realistic goals for cellular phone providers and research new applications for cell phone development” (Cell Phone World). In a way they still were not very accessible to the public, due to their extremely high operating cost to the consumer. Only the very wealthy could afford cell phones. Important heads of cooperation’s, movie stars, and top government officials were able to afford the luxury of a mobile phone.
In 1983, Motorola released its first cell phone, known as the Motorola DynaTAC 8000X, which offered 30 minutes of talk-time, six hour standby, and could store 30 phone numbers. By that time, cell phones were extremely expensive -- the DynaTAC 8000X costs 3995 dollars, and the cellular network was limited. To analyze the development and interpretative flexibility of the cell phone at its early stage, we must first introduce social groups that were related to the artefact. The users of the artefact were the most important social group. At the time, users were mainly constructed by businessmen, managers, politicians, doctors, big companies, military etc. who had high income and had to remain in contact with others occasionally. For them, the cell phones were the extension of corded phones that helps keeping the communication on without the limit of ranges. Thus, the problems that this social group had with cell phones are rather clear. The cell phones were too big and heavy, the talking time was too short for frequent users, and the nu...
The first cell phone call was made on April 19, 1973 by Motorola employee Martin Cooper, since every year cell phones is getting more advanced and better at times. When the cell phone was first manufactured I don’t think Martin Cooper, had in mind what wild, astounding, idea he had brought to the light, and how much the cell phone would evolve over the years. The two powerhouse companies responsible for most of the cell phones that are circulating in the world Samsung & Apple, these two companies history don’t date back that far, but they have sued, clashed, and tried to outsmart each other numerous amount of time. Over the years of the Samsung vs Apple Battle they have sued each other for an amount of money over a billion dollars, and lawsuits
The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand.” As you watch mainstream media you notice that the rich and successful are always joyful and confident. This eludes you from the hard work it takes for someone to become successful. Main stream media has falsely popularized the true definition of being successful. Many people start to believe that you’re only successful if you own an enormous house with multiple rooms that you can sleep in a new room each night, or having luxurious cars, owning expensive items, traveling anywhere you want at any given time, but in fact the true meaning of success is far from that. In
Having admirable character, making conscientious decisions, and possessing positive determination are key ingredients for remarkable success.
According to Reed (2010), smartphones were first brought to the attention of the public in 1993 by IBM and BellSouth. When the first smartphone was produced, it was called "Simon". Even though the technology was nowhere near what it is today, "Simon" utilized a touch screen and was able send faxes and access e-mail. The use of the touch screen foreshadowed what would come 14 years later, the iPhone. The next smartphone to be invented was the Nokia 9110 Communicator in 1998. This phone resembled the look of toda...
Success is something that we need to provide some type of energy like effort to become successful in our life. Mainly effort is related to success by improving our skills, preparing for our future opportunities, and becoming a professional. One of my most favorite one is improving our skills. The knowledge and skills are necessary to do your job and it will change our time by leading to learn new things. We need to do a little work every day to reach our goal for doing better skills. Secondly, I like to discuss about preparing for our future opportunities. The higher we pay attention and show that the things which is difficult to do, the further out we can see potential opportunity. The further out we will be able to predict that where they
The complexity of the term success in unbounded, with little to no restraints on how the term can be construed to the liking of the one doing the defining, however, true success will always be classified by the basic principles of morality, happiness and altruism. Unfortunately, many people aspiring to success in modern society are driven by the most luxurious objects that are present in society, but these are unfulfilling and short-lived. To be truly successful, one must not only benefit themselves in the present, but benefit the entirety of the human race for generations to proceed.
The smart phone was innovated heavily towards the late 2000’s and a lot of the newer features on them made their value skyrocket. There was a time when phones could only make calls, and even then the service was not that reliable. Eventually, companies start innovating with better resources of technology and start giving consumers more of a bargain for their dollars. The early 2000’s come around (2000-2004) and cell phones start to innovate text messaging, and some basis for PDA computing. The PDA industry did not last long because of the quick innovation ...
Success, everyone want it, few achieve it. Success is perspective, it could mean obtaining an education, being able to take over the family, achieving one’s life goals or making money. Since its perspective, it has the able to be wrong. A person maybe successful but depression and have no sign of happiness in life or they could make horrible decisions that destroy their line of success. Even though, one could be thought as successful, it is unattainable to achieve complete success in every part of one’s life and even in just part since there are always going to be better and more successful people in the society. One so focused on obtaining an education might let every other aspects of their life rot, resulting in failures. To achieve success
