Everyone has experienced discrimination in their workplace even if they are not aware of it. For example, when people apply for a job they might not know that the applications and its election process could involve racism. Not only that, but some face other difficulties outside of their jobs. Money, food, shelter, and health are at risk when having to handle their managers and obeying their rules. Sometimes managers interfere with their employee 's productivity by making them do "busy work" or undertake pointless tasks, making the employees ' working experience miserable or even the customers because some of them might be rude. The issues that need to be addressed more often are the ones that involve being replaced by technology in the workplace, sex differences or sexism, and ethnic differences because it violates the workers ' rights. Like Ehrenreich, we should and hope that low-wage workers will rise and demand to be treated fairly.
