...y and other countries and the rich and the poor. The hedge is viewed as a barrier that should be crossed for the Tricycle story while it should not be crossed in the Angus and the Ducks story. The hedge is an entity that should be crossed but, cannot be crossed because society doesn’t like uncertainty. Furthermore, in both stories Angus and Margarita are hiding under furniture to shield themselves from the problems that are taking place. Angus has learned that it is not good to be curious and the story implies that terrible things can happen if a country becomes involved with other countries. Meanwhile, Margarita is uncomfortable with the gap between rich and poor but, learns to accept it because of her upbringing. Both authors have deeper meanings to their stories and simply wants their audience to analyze these social problems that took place during 1930 and 2007.

There is an honesty towards the process, since a foundry normally hides the panelling in the cast - here it is visible on the surface where the panels meet. The large figurative metal man is not imposing or threatening, but rather humble" (Taylor 2014).... [tags: South African sculptor]

- The election of 1860 is a defining moment in the time leading up to the first actions of the Civil War. However, it also would have a lasting effect on the United States, and its people during those course of the war, its battles, and its negotiations.
