A blonde curly hair, blue eyed little girl stood in front of her home at 3234 75th Avenue Place in the small city of Merrillville, Indiana with her nephew that looked like he had a full background of a Hispanic family with his dark skin, hair, and eyes. Averey and Johnny were befuddled to be brother and sister, but they were in fact, aunt and nephew that were the same age. Avery had a troubled older sister that she could pass to be her full blood sister. Her sister blessed her with Johnny when she was 14 years old however her sister didn’t want to accept the fact she had to grow up to be able to take care of her first baby instead she made the choice to give Johnny to her parents to give him the life she can’t. Her older brother is three years older than her sister with a bad attitude. He would get in over his head, slicking his hair back wearing all black zip up leather jacket with blue jeans, then he’ll jump into his crown victoria with the spotlight right above the driver 's side mirror, he believed he could slip away like a prisoner breaking away from the jail for the first time. Avery 's mother was trying to get her college courses done while working full time during the day at the local hospital in the radiology department, leaving Averey and Johnny at daycare with pampered children crying while they lay on their children sized cots during nap time keeping Averey irritable after nap time. Once her mom would pick Averey and Johnny from daycare they would spend the rest of their night with their high school aged babysitter. Averey would hardly see her blonde, blue eyed, perfect round beer belly father that devoted his time to drive around North America in semi trucks for multiple companies he would be on the road for days or e...

...s. Her mother laid Averey down on her bed so Averey could sleep with her for the rest of the short night, but the night wasn’t over. Averey was tucked into her mother’s side with her mother’s head resting gently on hers, Averey felt her head started to get wet then she heard a soft cry come from her mother then she felt her mother 's grip became tighter just for a moment. Averey looked up as her mother was slowly releasing the grip she had on her to see her mother’s face splotched with light red and tears coming from her gorgeous blue eyes following the tears was her leftover mascara that made it through the night. Her mother looked at Averey with much pride in her caused her to reminisce how she looked at Michael and she said, “I’m sorry baby, I’m so sorry.” with her eyes filled with tears it was like she looked into the ocean of blue as the waves started to pick up.
