Someone’s lifestyle, exposure, and recent events play a major part in stress, which can lead to suicide. Stress and pressure in a person’s workforce is harmless to most people but to certain people this stress can possibly push someone to suicide. The overall healthiness of someone's life may increase the chance of being diagnosed with a disorder that certainly can cause suicide. The three most important factors are isolation, religion, and culture. When someone begins to be isolated this may be due to the part they are not comfortable with themselves either with their sexuality preference or gender identity. Most commonly isolation is due to the fact someone feels hopeless and depressed. When beginning to be isolated we sense the feeling of hopelessness causing a person to think of suicide as the answer. Secondly religion can be above all factors as a person’s religion can induce someone to commit suicide or encourage it. For example the religion of Islam is exploited and used in order to conduct terrorist attacks. The terrorists indoctrinate a person to commit suicide and kill innocent people in the name of their religion. The origins of terrorism is considered “The 1983 suicide attack on the U.S embassy in Beirut is considered as the beginning of a modern era of terrorism by the contemporary researchers motivated by religious beliefs which are even fanatical, deadly and pervasive”(Urooj 92). This practice is rising with a “rise in the number of suicide attacks in the last decade”(Urooj 91). Lastly the culture a person lives in may increase the odds of suicide. If a person lives in an impoverished country where suicide is accepted then suicide may be accepted to end suffering. For other countries the wealth of the nation may not be a reason for suicide but rather the culture

Having a busy work schedule or going to school full time and having lots of homework causes huge amounts of stress on many people. People don’t know how to handle it. It consumes their life and that’s all they worry about. Thousands of people in the United States get a divorce every year. People try lots of different things to help ease their workload or problems. For example, some may take up smoking to help with their stress, which can lead to bad health in the long run. Also, when adults with children get a divorce, it usually takes a bigger toll on the child than the parents. Since the children are usually young when it happens, they don’t know how to handle the pain, so they can turn to suicide as the answer. Additionally, relationship suicides are a big part of today’s world. Many people try to fix whatever is broken. When it doesn’t work out, they stress about it and they don’t think they can go on without that certain person so suicide becomes a solution to the
There are many risk factors associated with suicidal ideation and attempts. Risk factors include self-destructive behavior which may be related to life events, unfavourable home environments, or a genetic component. Personality traits like aggression and hostility or feeling introverted or hopeless play a role in suicides. Teenagers may have been exposed to others who have had suicidal behaviors.
People that are born into families with a history of mental illness or suicidal thoughts are at a higher risk for developing suicide ideation themselves. However, while there is a genetic component to suicide ideation, not everyone who has a family history will develop suicide ideations, nor do all those who have suicidal thoughts or mental illness have a family history of the disorder. The effects of genetics on suicide are due to inheriting mental illness and by inheriting traits. Several mental illnesses have genetic influences and increase the risk of suicide. These include depression, bipolar disease, schizophrenia, and some types of anxiety [Suicide Prevention Hotline]. Genetics have a large influence on suicidal thoughts and mental illnesses, although it's not something you can prevent, you can protect yourself and others in your family that have suicide

Many teenagers are very vulnerable to society and would do just about anything to fit into that social circle just for acceptance (Mood Disorder, 2011). Cognitive changes are also a factor in the psychological and emotional state of teenagers and play a role in suicidal thinking and behavioral issues (Adolescence,
