Success can be distinguished in various ways based on an individual’s interpretation and experience. As Winston Churchill famously stated, "Success is walking from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm." The interpretation of success is not entirely achieving or overcoming a great feat, but it is also about the adjustments that you experience in order to reach such a stage. To obtain success, you must first understand what is crucial and significant in your life, and to seek for stability and new experiences while within the pursuit of personal growth. First, you must overcome whatever is the cause of any bad behavior coming from you. For example, a high paying job can provide the salary that you need to live luxuriously, but can be the cause of high stress and leads you to behave immorally and make poor decisions. Working as a surgeon can be very rewarding when it comes to the amount of salary you earn, but, as imagined, it can place you in a very stressful workplace and holds you at strong expectations. Every time you time into your workplace, you are anticipated to give it your all. Not to mention, the unpredictability of being forced into a life or death situation (not your life of course). Another category of success is physical and intellectual; both are opposites when it differs in the area that they take part in, but carry the same objective. Intellectual and physical success is about gaining success by working hard. Seeking physical success pushes you to achieve more than what you have with your body; it can be about losing twenty pounds, or even training to win the Olympics. Intellectual success is more about working the mind through personal responsibilities such as school, work, or essentially any challenge waiting to be conquered. It matters less of how difficult the situation is and more of how much it means to obtain it. What may seem easy for you could be a great difficulty for someone else to overcome. Acquiring a physical disability can immensely hinder your actions and your capabilities of living a healthy lifestyle. For instance, there are approximately 17,000 new cases involving spinal cord injuries each year, but only a small percentage of those who survived are given the chance to walk again. Pat Rummerfield, a victim of an automobile accident, suffered heavy injuries and a broken neck. Not only was he expected never to walk again, doctors anticipated for him to die within the next three days. But with his father by his side and determination fueling him, he began what became his most rigorous
