Motivation
The diagram shows that the reasons of students to keep motivated while studying their area is: graduation and get a diploma (32%), being positive in daily affairs (27%), obedience (10%), help and encouragement from family and friends (14%), good health and fitness (9%), and others (9%). This specifies that most of the students are encourage and doing well in school because of graduation and getting a diploma. For most students, graduation and being positive are the keys to be motivated in school or university. Good health and fitness, and others are the least reasons that the most students feel motivated of according to the survey. (Strang, 2015)

Principal component analysis determined that the main motivational factors, towards learning present in students currently pursuing an engineering undergraduate degree for all years of study were Personal, Perfectionist, Parental/Family, Job/Career and Social Acceptance. Determining what drives students to their peak performance would assist with the facilitation and design of teaching methods to capture students' interests, promoting learning and understanding as best as possible and consequently, optimizing academic performance. (Martin M., Christelle S., Welch F. 2014)

Ormrod (2014) indicated that there are two types of motivation. These are extrinsic motivation and intrinsic motivation. Extrinsic motivation is motivating a student by rewards or not part of his/her studies while intrinsic motivation is motivating his/herself to be able to gain or learn some knowledge and thinking that it is more important than anything. Some students are into extrinsic motivation because of the benefits of doing well in their studies but some are into intrinsic motivation just to aim and gain different knowledge and
