For years, there have been hundreds of debates about whether students should wear uniforms or not. Many schools agreed with the idea and have already required school uniforms, while others are still considering it. Some say that school uniforms represent discipline and instill school pride, but others think that it is not creativity and comfortable. Despite that there are still arguments about it; school uniforms have increasingly demonstrated their importance and influence in many ways. Students should have to wear uniforms because it will help students to perform better at school, give students a sense of discipline, lower the cost for parents, and decrease the rate of crime.
Students who do not want to wear uniforms will give many reasons for why they should be banned. They believe that school uniforms will take away their freedom to express themselves. Teenagers think that fashion is one of the most important factors to them to identify themselves with others. They argue that school uniforms will make this impossible. It is also uncomfortable in their opinion. While wearing an uncomfortable outfit, their concentration will be lessened and they most likely will not do well at school. The purpose of education is to encourage students to be creative and achieve their dreams, but students do not think they can make it if they cannot even dress the way they wanted. These all sound good and reasonable, but if one carefully thinks about them, they do not seem to be valid.

Students should wear uniforms in public school. This is not a right or wrong answer but one’s own perspective. No matter how much people try to deny the importance of uniforms, the fact is that we cannot help but acknowledge the positive aspects that it benefits for students. Uniforms do not limit student’s self-expression or the ability for creativity. Since there are so many more ways to identify oneself rather than just the way he or she dresses, creativity does not always revolve around clothes. The students will be themselves and be different from others when they have dreams, and they will take the risk to achieve it.
