The strange case of Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde share many of the same ideas and characteristics with The Incredible Hulk comics and the same can be said about Two-Face from Batman and Satan from Satan’s Fall. The main conflict of the novel The Strange of Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde mainly focuses on the chemist Dr.Jekyll and his evil side known as Mr.Hyde who he transforms into. Jekyll has difficulty trying to resist from turning into Mr. Hyde. The Incredible Hulk comics overall conflict is Bruce Banner trying to live alongside and contain the threat of the hulk. The four characters have many key characteristics they share. Jekyll and Banner are trying to get rid of their counterpart or control them. While Jekyll sacrificed himself to bring an end to the uncontrollable Hyde Banner had a different way of dealing with the hulk. Unlike Jekyll Banner is in full control of the hulk when he hasn’t transformed into the hulk. Though when Banner transforms into the hulk he no longer has control over the hulk. This is why Banner leaves civilization to live by himself in the comics to not get angered and stay in full control of the hulk. With Banners control of the hulk this enrages hulk even more which causes the hulk to learn how to keep from changing back into Banner. The hulk himself states in the WWH comics when iron man calls him Bruce the hulk replies by saying “Banner is gone there is only Hulk”. Hulk was also able to completely separate himself from Banner making the two live separately and the hulk can freely cause mayhem without Banner limiting his power. Banner at first happy with what the hulk did soon realized that without him limiting the hulks power the hulk will not stop causing chaos and decided to become one with the hulk yet again saying “I must live with the curse of the
