In total, the storm system Isaac caused an estimated 2.66 billion dollars in damages throughout the different countries and thirty four deaths are attributed to the storm system. These numbers do not account for ships that may have been out at sea and caught in the system, nor do they account for smaller storms caused by Isaac 's dissipation.
