Statement of purpose
When I was ten my uncle from USA gifted me and my sister an expensive remote controlled Puppy. Like all the gifts that were given to both of us, it didn’t last for long. We both wanted it for ourselves. But it was a different scenario then, I had felt guilt and the strong urge to do something about the damaged toy at the same time. I opened the RC puppy with the necessary tools and there I was baffled by what I saw, a small green board with holes and small things that I then couldn’t comprehend. I had to understand what I didn’t already know and then started my journey towards electronics and technology. That was my first important question for my journey.
All the way to my 8th standard I had become well acquainted with the subject mathematics, I had undergone Abacus training to enhance my calculating speed and accuracy. My father being a software engineer, I was fortunate enough to accompany him to the USA for a stay of two years and it is there that I had my schooling of 9th and 10th grade. I had come to like the education system in America. I had to return to India for my Intermediate studies (11th and 12th grade) and I had faced some trouble trying to cope up with the syllabus there, most of which I had no exposure to as I had a different course structure in the USA. I struggled during my first year of Intermediate, but my ceaseless efforts and strong will power earned me a Distinction at intermediate level with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as majors. From then on it had become my goal to get educated in a well established and research oriented Universities like yours from the word go of a new phase of my life.

...in me to converge on the path to share my knowledge to one and all. I plan to undertake graduate studies eventually leading to a doctorate, and share my knowledge through a career in academia. This plan of action gives me a chance to inspire forthcoming generations to explore, discover, innovate and continuously enrich their lives.
Aspiring for wider learning opportunities and advanced research in new technology, University of Texas at Dallas provides the right avenues and opportunities. As once stated by Sir Isaac Newton ‘If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants’, I feel that I would benefit a great deal by working under the guidance of the experienced professors at your University and am very much enthusiastic about being given the opportunity to study in your reputed university and I look forward to being a part of your school.
