I remember when I had the idea to start an e-commerce business in El Salvador and try to sell electronics components, mostly because I saw the difficulties that many students of engineering were having trying to buy them online outside of the country.

Great opportunity, a few companies were selling electronics components online, and not very well actually. I told my idea to two colleagues/friends of mine because I didn 't want to do it by myself, I had a day job and I was not going to quit at the moment.

After some weeks, I managed to convince my friends that it was a good opportunity so we started with the talking to setting up everything, how, what, when?… We didn 't have anything planned but we started with the design of the web page for the online store. We have different personalities and different backgrounds as well, computer scientist, electrical engineering, and engineering management. We complemented each other with our skill and knowledge. But…It didn 't work!

Why? Because I now that I see it, we really were not pursuing the same goals, I was th...
