Starbucks was founded in 1987 with a modest nine-store operation in the Seattle, Washington. As of April of 2010 Starbucks had 8,812 company-owned stores and 7,852 licensed stores within 50 countries, and they also had an annual sales of 10 billion. Now something that stood out to me was the impact that took place in the fiscal years 2008-2009. The first set of numbers that I want to get into is the Net Revenues at Company-Operated Retail Stores followed by the Average Sales Revenues at Company Operated Retail Stores.

Starbucks Background
Starbucks got its start in 1971 when three academics began the idea Jerry Baldwin, Zev Siegel, and Gordon Bowker. They each equally invested $1,350 and borrowed $5,000 from their bank and opened Starbucks Coffee. In the 1980s Zev Siegel decided it was best for his own career if he removed himself from the company. Now at this time the company had four stores up and located in the Seattle area. Starbucks ' could put a computer touch screen close to the pickup list that demonstrates a video about how the beans are developed, gathered, bundled, and arranged into espresso refreshments. Numerous clients shop with their younger kids who are not keen on drinking an espresso drink. Starbucks ' could start to offer beverages that are made for kids. They could offer teas, juices, or a line of milk based beverages. I feel that if Starbucks follows some of my recommendations that they brand would grow even more throughout the whole world.
