In Segregation for Children with Special Needs: A good idea, “Segregation is not cheap either and the developmental detriment of long term placement in these settings for children with special needs can never be undone.” Although, special needs children that are being put in special education programs is a good thing because they are receiving the kind of teaching they need in their own way.
