Strategies

In order for Rudy’s Subs to fulfill their objectives, a concrete strategy for each of their social media platforms has been developed.

The strategies that have been put into place are built around reaching the following two objectives:
Increase the average number of orders fulfilled in a day from 60 to 100.
Maintain an average of 10 online orders a day.

In order to properly complete these objectives, Rudy’s Subs must take full advantage of the advertising and marketing potential of their Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Blog, Instagram, and Snapchat accounts. The proper use of all of these platforms in unison will increase Rudy’s Subs Brand Awareness and reach, and in turn, assist in completing both objectives. The following will …show more content…

Rudy’s Subs should install a series entitled “Menu Item of the Week” Through this, Rudy’s Subs would choose one item on the menu each week and post multiple high quality photos of the menu item, as well as a video that displays the entire process of preparing that particular menu item. These posts should also include a link to order that particular menu item online. It is also crucial that Rudy’s Subs links their Instagram and Facebook accounts together. Doing this will allow their Instagram posts to also appear on Facebook. However, because of Instagram video limitations, Rudy’s Subs should post a longer version of the video on Facebook. In addition to the menu item of the week, Rudy’s Subs should also occasionally post random pictures of the restaurant, food, and promotions. In terms of post frequency, Rudy’s Subs should be posting to Instagram 1-3 times a week.

LinkedIn Out of all of the social media platforms Rudy’s Subs should use, LinkedIn will see the smallest amount of usage. Rudy’s Subs should only post to LinkedIn when they have something industry or business related to share. Any sort of major news, important notices, events, etc. There is no true frequency standard when it comes to posting to LinkedIn because you should only be posting when there is corporate-oriented news to share.
