Throughout time, people learned about history from books, websites, articles, and magazines to gain their understandings of History. Leon Trotsky played an important role in the Russian Revolution and so did the character of Snowball from the novel Animal Farm. Their life actions had a positive affect towards history even though their goals were never accomplished.

Leon Trotsky

Leon Trotsky was the chairman of the Military Revolutionary Committee of the Petrograd Soviet. The organization was that, under Lenin’s direction, that shown the overthrow of the state which is called or known “The October Revolution

Since the Revolt is originated into Civil War, It was a task for Trotsky to organize the Bolshevik Red Army to battle the anti-Bolshevik services, other groups, such as the whites were aggressive to the Bolshevik takeover, also the UK, France, USA and Japanese who took over ports around the country and they were trying to force Russia back into WWI, afterwards to try to overthrow the new establishment.

Later as the Civil War, Trotsky was reflected one of the front runners for the role of leading the country after the death of Lenin, but he fell foul of the master exploiter who hated his popularity, his organizational skills and was wary that the army may be loyal to him (Stalin). In 1929, Stalin evacuated him from the Soviet Union.

...an see there is a connection between these 2 characters. They wanted to make good things but the never got the chance to reach their goals. As looking between them, Leon was a leader with Stalin after the Russian Revolution and Snowball was a leader with Napoleon after the overthrown of Mr. Jones. How they used their power were their decisions. They both wanted to be creators because no one would have ever thought on what they wanted to be. The only difference between them is that Snowball is a fictional character that is a speaking pig and Leon Trotsky was a realistic human figure in history, nevertheless, the lessons we can learn from them are strongly connected. Because of what we’ve learned from them, we learned to be more aware of how people can wrongly judge someone, we can learn if someone or something is different, that doesn’t prove that they are the enemy.
