Smartphone is ubiquitous. From Samsung Galaxy to IPhone, numerous people including children rely on smartphone to keep their loved ones in touch and download application for entertainment. However, as the latest smartphone attracts people, they lose their view of reality, isolating themselves from social factors such as birthday party or Christmas Eve. By having a smartphone constantly, most people change their lives based on what society expects them to do such as becoming involved in technology or understanding the knowledge of technology. Gaining an attention was easier by taking an audacious move and introduces themselves, but with smartphone it is simple and easy through online chat group. For example, a survey conducted that “7% of cell owners say that their phone makes it ‘a lot’ harder to give people their undivided attention” (Smith). Several people cannot interact with new people because of checking their smartphone and talking to someone on the phone occasionally. Because of that, it limits their communication and confidence with other people to gain an interest with that person which lowers their interest on that person.
