Research methodology, is an understanding of the different approaches used to conduct research. Within research methodology validity and reliability are important. The reason, researchers need to understand the methodology, before research is conducted is to ensure that they are using them correctly and ethically and also understand the key concept
The issue of whether customers should buy FWD and RWD cars is complex and controversial. Different people hold different ideas due to their drive experience and consumers attitudes. On one hand, lots of people believe that only RWD cars represent Luxury and high-performance. On the other hand, the car made on FWD are much cheaper and popular. However, most of customers are blind and ignorant on it. Many of them don’t even know the automobile layout of their sedan after use it for decades.

...nsumer interest and sales began to increase. However, without attaining economies of scale, the cheaper pricing of cars without making much of a profit is not sustainable and an alternative method of producing products at a cheaper price long term was to be sought. Consumer demand of imported vehicles, had sparked an increase in imports into the country causing local manufacturing to cease production and move overseas in order to reduce costs per unit to maintain profit margins. It is clear that this move is to achieve economies of scale as well as maintaining competitiveness in the evolving industry. Therefore the analysis concludes that the manufacturing of automotive vehicles is declining and will soon cease to exist in Australia. Profitability is declining, until a cheaper alternative of cost per unit is achieved, hence economies of scale will also be achieved.

The Research Methodology chapter contains a definition of the selected research methodology, description of the research methods and research design, and provides an argumentation for selection of qualitative research methodology over quantitative one. In addition to that, the Chapter describes the models used for analysis of the information, gathered via indicated research methods.
Entry into the car manufacturing industry involves overcoming high barriers; car manufacturing is a highly capital-intensive market, thus forcing new entrants to acquire large sums of capital simply to enter. This capital goes into purchasing a manufacturing plant, sophisticated equipment, raw materials and supplies, and the development of extensive supply chains. Additionally, they must invest in research and development. In economic terms, this last item is deemed a sunk cost because the firm must undergo the research and development/engineering expense prior to even selling a vehicle. Other significant sunk costs come in the form of marketing campaigns. On the other hand, technological innovations through research and development allow for automotive firms to lower costs and achieve economies of scale. In addition to requiring large amounts of capital to enter the car manufacturing industry, entrants must comply to government regulations regarding environment and safety standards, including fuel efficiency. Customers are also often loyal to established brands, and therefore it is vital newcomers establish brand

Gupta, V. (2009). The export boom in automobile sector has largely been possible due to improved performance of auto components segment. In the component industry, the top rung manufacturers made desperate attempt to overcome depressed domestic market of late 90s by tapping the export market and making efforts to improve quality and competitive potential. Exports also earned them higher margins - S. B., Vikram, S., & D, S. G. (2011). Presently, there are more than 30 OEMs offering more than 75 options in all categories of vehicles. India’s automotive industry is the world’s sixth largest producer of automobiles in terms of volume and value and has grown 14.4% in the last decade. The industry contributes 7% to India’s GDP, 7-8% of the total employed population (about 13 million people), 4% of exports. - Bhattacharya, S.
India’s automobile industry is one of the key drivers that promote the economic growth of the country. Personal vehicle ownership in India is increasing at a fast pace as a result of rapid economic growth witnessed in the last two decades. The rise in disposable income (in both rural and urban sector), presence of a wide variety of options to choose from and availability of easy finance are the main drivers of automobile sales in India. The relative popularity of the various segments of vehicles based on their size, price and usage are also undergoing sea changes. Especially in a country like India where motorized and non-motorized informal transports are a major mode of travelling (along with public transport in bigger cities), a fast-paced shift towards private motorized transport is a substantial change. The post globalization period has witnessed the footprints of global automobile majors striding towards India to tap India’s highly potential vehicle market. With manufacturers fighting to capture the biggest slice of the pie in one of the fastest growing automotive markets in the world, the Indian consumer is being offered with extravagantly larger set of vehicles in
Indus Motor Company has a policy of “Customer First” (IMC, 2013, p. 49). Meaning, for IMC, customers certainly matter to a very high extent, so it comes to bargaining power it is safe to say that it is not low. One of the very first things a buyer should consider when looking for a car is what kind of car he/she wants. Many different factors can affect the car buying process. For one, the buyer must consider how big of a vehicle he/she wants and safety features like airbags, seatbelts, and working brakes. Itemizing a list of accessories can also help narrow down what kind of car to buy. While some people might prefer a Sedan with a large back seat and seat warmers, others may prefer an extreme luxury car with full stereo systems and miniature televisions. Every person has different tastes in accessories; luckily, there is a vehicle that can fit almost every personality. Most new models have the latest technology installed, although some of the “newer” used cars have the option of adding in those accessories. Once the...
Research which is also known as the search for knowledge is an art of scientific search for specific information. Research Methodology is a scientific and systematic way of finding solution to a problem. In this research, researcher has studied various steps for research like problem along with the logic behind them. For this study, researcher must know various research techniques like mean, mode,
