What if I told you that right now someone was deciding, without even knowing you, whether you would live or die? What if I told you that this choice wouldn’t be based on what you could or couldn’t do, it wouldn’t be based on what you have done in the past or what you will do in the future? And what if I told you that there was nothing that you could do to change their mind? That choice is abortion, and that someone is a child’s mother. Millions of innocent children die every year simply because they can’t speak for themselves, the unborn are humans and we can’t continue to take their rights away.
Abortion is the removal of an embryo from the uterus on, purpose. In the US there are two categories of abortion. The first category of abortion is the in the clinic, there are two different types of in the clinic abortions. The first type is called an aspiration, an aspiration is when a doctor takes a vacuum that is attached to a syringe and the vacuum sucks everything out of the uterus in pieces. Aspirations are performed when a woman has been pregnant for less than 16 weeks. The second kind of “in the clinic” abortion is called a dilation and evacuation, this is when forceps are used to dismember the child’s body. Dilation and evacuations are performed when a woman is more that 16 weeks pregnant. The second category of abortion is the abortion pill. This pill is called Mifepristone, it is taken within the first 9 weeks of pregnancy.
I know many people say that it is a woman’s choice to have an abortion, after all having a baby dramatically impacts her life, but I’m not asking you to think about the woman’s rights, I’m asking you to think about the child’s rights that were never given to it. The woman had a choice, not to ha...

As to any argument, there are two opposing sides when it comes to the matter of abortions. These two opposers usually refer to themselves as “pro-life” and “pro choice”. Pro-life supporters maintain that abortion is wrong and pro-choice believe that it is a woman’s freedom to choose her pregnancy decisions. When it comes to the topic of abortions, most of us will readily agree that it’s a woman’s choice to decide what her reproductive decisions are, i.e. pro-choice. Where this agreement usually ends, however, is in the question of whether or not abortion is a fundamental right granted to women by the Constitution. Whereas some are convinced that a fetus is considered alive at conception, usually citing the word of God, others maintain that

In the article “All Abortions Must Be Illegal” the president of the American Life Judie Brown and the director of public Relations for American Life League says “All choices should not be legal or protected, and abortion is one that should not be legal. Allowing abortion in cases of rape or incest punishes the innocent child more than the guilty rapist”. The question is “Who should make the choice to kill preborn babies?” the answer is “Nobody”. Therefore, most women "choice" abortion precisely because they believe they have no other choice.” Abortion has change in our society today now because the women have the right to choose to abort or having the baby. Abortion is a medical or surgical procedure that ends a pregnancy.

Illegal abortions performed in unsafe conditions contribute to a great number of deaths every year. According to Wendy Wanlund, “In 1930, illegal abortion was the official cause of death for nearly 2,700 women, or 18 percent of childbirth-related deaths recorded that year” (Abortion Debates). In the more than four decades since Roe v. Wade was decided, thousands of American women’s lives have been saved by access to legal abortion care. Furthermore, making abortions illegal would force women to go about terminating their unwanted pregnancies with unsafe procedures. Every year, millions of women in the developing world are treated for complications from unsafe pregnancy termination. These complications can include heavy bleeding, infection and sepsis, as well as more severe conditions, such as lacerations or uterine perforation, that can put a woman 's life at risk. Lack of access to abortion clinics does not result in fewer abortions, it results in unsafe and illegal abortions.

In conclusion, for those of you, who support abortion and think it is okay, put yourself in the babies’ shoes. I know that everybody has to die, and we do not live on earth forever. With that being said, I cannot imagine dying. I do not want to imagine the world without me in it. As a result, I will love to know how all you abortion supporter will feel if someone seized your ability to live. For one second, just picture yourself not being capable of having the opportunity to say whether or not you want to live or die but also not being able to have an actual voice in this case. Unfortunately, babies are not entitled to have a choice in their mother’s womb. This is very hurtful and tragic. Please refrain from abortion and be responsible. It is cruel and unfair.
The permissibility of abortion has been a crucial topic for debates for many years. People have yet to agree upon a stance on whether abortion is morally just. This country is divided into two groups, believers in a woman’s choice to have an abortion and those who stand for the fetus’s right to live. More commonly these stances are labeled as pro-choice and pro-life. The traditional argument for each side is based upon whether a fetus has a right to life. Complications occur because the qualifications of what gives something a right to life is not agreed upon. The pro-choice argument asserts that only people, not fetuses, have a right to life. The pro-life argument claims that fetuses are human beings and therefore they have a right to life. Philosopher, Judith Jarvis Thomson, rejects this traditional reasoning because the right of the mother is not brought into consideration. Thomson prepares two theses to explain her reasoning for being pro-choice; “A right to life does not entail the right to use your body to stay alive” and “In the majority of cases it is not morally required that you carry a fetus to term.”

Some women have accepted the definition that a woman’s prime role as wife and mother is to have control of one’s own body and mind (Reardon 3) .Once they had choices about life roles, they felt that they had the right to choose abortion or not. Any and every woman should have the ability to choose when to have a child in their lives. Many women feel that if they did not have the right to choose an abortion, they would have passed by many opportunities to create a better life for themselves. Some people might not agree with their decisions, but in the ends it is theirs.
Abortion defined is the termination of pregnancy by the removal or expulsion from the uterus of a fetus or embryo prior to viability. Each year in the United States 1.6 million abortions are performed with 91% of them being performed during the first trimester (under 12 weeks of gestation). There are second trimester abortions as well (under 24 weeks of gestation) which occurs in 9% of the accumulative abortions a year in the United States. And about 100 abortions are performed in the third trimester (above 24 weeks gestation) this is approximately .01% of all abortions. 1.5 million U.S. women with unwanted pregnancies will choose abortion each year.
