Education is and always has been a very important aspect of my life. My aspirations to become a teacher started at the age of three. Even my family has a long history in the education field. For that reason, I want to change the world one step at a time by becoming a teacher. I believe that teachers have the most important job. They are shaping the lives of students whether it is passing on values and beliefs, or teaching them about what has happened in the past. I find the statistics of treatment of students alarming. I’ve seen teachers treat exceptional students with impatience and intolerance. It breaks my heart to see teachers act in this manner because we are supposed to be leaders and role models. I want my students to know that they are all important to me. I will be an unbiased teacher and treat all of my students with respect and fairness. An effective teacher is creative, incorporates various learning styles to accommodate every child in the class, has classroom management skills, use multileveled instruction, and sacrifices personal time to commit to the school and …show more content…
As a teacher, there are a lot of responsibilities and commitments that a teacher must follow. Teachers can perform best when they use team planning, student/parent conferences, and classroom management. We also need the students to taken an active role in their own education with the help of parents and guardians. When I become a teacher I want my students to exceed the local and state goals on standardized test. My duty is to prepare students for the world that lies ahead. It is best that children learn at an early age rather than later. I want my students to use the tools that I give them throughout life. It feels good when you know you have made an impact on someone’s life. As a result, teachers are powerful and any student can achieve great things if they put there mind to
It is important to recognize positive aspects in oneself in order to move in the right direction. I am a proactive educator with the desire and capability to assist my students and school in achieving success. I am very technology savvy and believe that it is a pertinent strength that is needed in order to be an effective educator and administrator.
In a society where kids must go to school up to the collegiate level, teaching is an impactful career choice. Teachers help contour the minds of future leaders of the world. Furthermore, teachers play a crucial role in guiding students to the knowledge, skills, and abilities they need to succeed in life, and teachers lead students to make informed decisions on any topic the meet in the future. As a teacher, a person must relinquish their knowledge onto students. Finally, they must prepare their students for all the obstacles they will face later in life.

I will always strive to be the
There is no more critical role in our current society than that of a teacher’s. Teachers help shape the minds of the future. Tomorrow's engineers, scientists, politicians, and educators are all greatly influenced by today's instructors. Without teachers society would not be anywhere near where it is now, and only a select few would have access to learning. Sadly however important teachers are in human civilization, they are still drastically understated, unrecognized and under paid.
I am very interested in pursuing my Masters Degree at some point, but my main goal is to get out into the school system as a teacher. The most important thing that I have learned in my life is the importance of education. Living in a world bursting with advantages and opportunities for those in education, I find it both a priority and a privilege to share the gift of knowledge with the future of society. Even more, I find it an honor to be able to have the chance.
Doctors, lawyers, politicians, and engineers. How did they all get to where they are today? No matter the position someone may hold in society everyone has progressed to where they are in life because they had a teacher, someone who taught them in the way they should go. Teacher as defined in the dictionary as one who instructs. To teach someone is to communicate skills and give instruction. Today I would like to tell you why I would like to become a teacher. Specifically speaking I will tell you what has led me to this decision and why I want to become a teacher.
Teachers have one of the most important jobs and help shape the next generation of students. While teachers have an impact on their student’s lives, students impact the teacher’s lives as well. Education is more than just going to school eight hours a day, and learning information, but it helps shape students into what they will be like in the forthcoming. I believe that teachers should be a model to their students, encourage them, and teach them through experience.
I believe educators are one of the most important careers out there, without them where would we be today? Would you be reading this paper? Would you still be able to read, write, or have an educated conversation? Would you know how to pay for things at the grocery store, and know if you’re receiving the correct change back? Would you know how to tell time, so you can manage your day? When I look back to my young developing stages in life, I always ask myself where would I be today if it wasn’t for my teachers? Teachers are the ones who are building our future generations. Preparing children and teens for higher education. Also playing a huge part in shaping children’s lives, enlightening them, and educating them about society and the world around them; the types of things that a parent doesn’t have time for, or just lacks the knowledge of. I think teachers are what help make this world go round. We simply go to school to learn, and get educated, so that someday we can get a job, or start a business to supply for our families and our self. How would we acq...
...bility over each one of your students. Good quality instructors are what society needs in order to make this country flourishing. Yet, I have heard many controversies over what an effective teacher really is. Although this was intimidating, it gave me more determination to work towards my goal.
When becoming a teacher, there are so many motivations one can have. My number one motivator is the students. I want to do everything in my power to make them enjoy school, learning and be happy with themselves. Another reason I want to be a teacher is how comfortable I feel around kids and how happy they make me. I can’t even begin to explain how much fun I have; it doesn’t even feel like work. As I could go on and on about how kids make me feel, my main goal is to be able to be a motivator for all my students. Teachers are next in line to the parents as kid’s role models. I want to make a big influence on students, to be able to trust me and hopefully other teachers as they grow up. They need that extra push, especially some who may be having
As we reminisce and reflect back either on our childhood or academic career, we tend to have that one teacher who was memorable to us in some way - for their sense of humor, their stellar personality, or perhaps having that charisma and charm no other teacher had to make a difficult subject and it 's concepts fun to learn. While knowledge is power, I firmly believe that it is rather the exchange and distribution of knowledge that is power. When one can educate the masses there is no doubt that together we can accomplish great things. Becoming a teacher would mean the opportunity to be able to witness the shaping and molding of the minds of the future generations and the satisfaction knowing that you have helped your students set themselves onto the right path and provide guidance towards the creation of a better tomorrow. Choosing to become a teacher will allow me not only to educate my students, but also educate myself to be a better teacher throughout my career. I believe it is a function of human nature to want to change the world for the better. In adulthood, I have learned that the improvement of the welfare of the world must begin with
1.Please provide a detailed statement (approximately 1/4 to 1/2 A4 page) outlining your motivation for pursuing a career as a teacher in a NSW public school.
I believe that teaching is the most important job known to humanity. In fact, I do not believe it is a job, but rather, a debt payment to society. Education is important because it not only opens doors to a better life, but it also insures one a happier life. It develops in us a perspective of looking at life. It makes us capable of interpreting rightly the things perceived. Without education, we as a whole, would be further behind in the world and would not have as much technology as we do now. Education also equips us with all that is needed to make our dreams come true. It is because of education that we have the comfortable living style that we have today. For those who are troubled, education acts as an outlet to success. It is education that builds in every individual a confidence to make decisions, to face life, and to accept successes and failures. It instills a sense of pride about the knowledge one has and prepares him/her for life.
In today's constantly changing world, our children and youth need to learn inquiry-based, problem solving skills to that they may become successful members of society and live productive lives.
Teaching is not a job for everyone, but I strongly believe that teaching is my calling. What many people do not understand is that as early childhood educators, we begin to shape the minds of these young children. We are one of the primary building blocks to their education. What we teach them will stay with them forever, and it may not be just things within the curriculum. Although teaching may seem like an easy career, it is one of the most important roles in a child 's life. Many children spend more time at school with their teachers than at home with their parents. We are their role models, they follow what we do which is why we must be the best we can be. Teachers are the ones who prepare students for the future, we are the creators of future lawyers, engineers, musicians, etc. Schools are the place where it all begins, schools are the foundation and we teachers build on that foundation. I am a teacher because I want to change someone’s life by sharing what I know with them.
