For the first time, I heard this phrase from my high school teacher in economic classes and I thought it just impressive quote from a famous person, but when I study for bachelor degree I truly understand how taxes important to human society. At Thammasat University, tax study broadened my perspectives in each Thailand’s tax type and fostered my strong determination to become a tax practitioner.
Studying the Taxation course has changed my life. In the classroom, adjunct professors from Revenue Departments taught me the foundation of Thailand’s tax structures and discussed in effects of tax collection to taxpayers’ behaviors. They often mentioned about the complexity of tax administration resulted from international tax planning and tax evasion. Moreover, they always showed me that tax practitioners have to possess knowledge in various aspects such as law, business and economics. Their lectures intrigued me so much that I was bound and determined to further study in advanced tax courses. In order to further fulfill my ambitions in university life, I decided to not only hardworking in education, but also participate in various university activities such as newspaper club, photography club and volunteer club. In one volunteer club activity that we go to rural areas in northern of Thailand and run a group activity with local students such as teaching students about financial planning, higher education advisory and build school facility in a rural area. This activity still reminds me one of Importance roles of taxation that the main government revenue and allocate it to create public goods such as health care systems, education systems, ...

I am confident that as I received second honor degree, rewards and scholarship from the government, I will be capable of making a positive and intellectual contribution to the class and the university. Moreover, I am considering about taking Fiduciary Income Taxation, International Taxation, Taxation of Natural Resources and Low Income Taxpayer Clinic as my optional courses. I believe that these courses will be a crucial part for me to become success as tax auditor and fulfill my goal I am also looking forward to widening my world of thinking with the community and new people who share the same interest in university clubs. I believe that these experiences are essential for my career path and my future potential business. I am certain that University of Denver will be the ideal place for me to pursue my dream.
