While this is true, each year the styles of name-brand clothing change, meaning each year the parent would have to buy new clothes for the child. However, if the uniform policy was implemented, they would not change over the years. This would eventually save money seeing as the student could wear the same uniforms from the previous year.
As this new pilot is tested, many studies have shown the benefits of school uniforms being implemented in school systems nationwide. The benefits of introducing this change are easily noticed: school administration no longer has to keep an eye out for broken dress code, teenagers are less likely to be targeted or bullied, and there is a definite increase in classroom success rates.
