Students Should Be Paid to Attend School
School can be frustrating for students. Going to school, doing homework, and then repeating it all over again the next day can become quite tedious. Especially when one feels as if they are not gaining anything from doing well in school, it causes students to have very little motivation to complete their schoolwork. Students might be motivated if there was some sort of incentive for attending school and doing well at it. A law should be passed that requires students to be paid for doing well in school because it gives them motivation, helps them with financial issues, and allows them to learn how to manage money more effectively. Schools should pay their students for doing well in school because

Many students in grade school don’t obtain money very often because they do not have a steady income, so they are prone to spend the money they get. For example, if a student gets money for a holiday, the first thing that comes to mind is to spend it on something they want because they are not used to having money. They don’t know the next time they will get more money so they don’t see the importance of saving. Since there would be a constant income a student will see the effect of saving because their amount of money would constantly be increasing which will motivate them to keep saving. If students learn how to save while they are younger they will be more successful in life, and they will also have that money to use when they graduate. In conclusion, students should be paid to do well in school because it has many benefits to the student. Those benefits include motivation to get good grades, the money would help the student financially, and the student would learn how to manage their money more effectively. School is a big part of every person’s life, so it should be more rewarding to the
Think about this: a straight F student with a family that has a sufficient amount of money. This student gets to go to the best college that their family’s money can buy, which will probably go to waste on partying. Now compare that to a straight A student, living in a too-small temporary place, and no way to pay the bills. This student is everything a college could dream of having, and they actually care about their education. Sadly enough, though, they will never go because how can someone possibly go to college when their family cannot even pay the bills? Considering this scenario, should students in temporary living situations with 3.0 GPAs or higher earn free college tuition? I believe that students in these situations with a 3.0 GPA or above should earn free college tuition. I feel that students willing and determined to excel in their education deserve to have equal, if not more, opportunities than anybody else interested in college, no matter what. Students in temporary living situations have financial problems which cause stress for the students; therefore, if given the chance to earn free college tuition, their stress levels would decrease rapidly. It is astonishing how rare it is for students in a poverty situation to have a 3.0 GPA or above, let alone to go to college. I strongly believe that having college paid for would mean so much to them and be such a great accomplishment and reward.
Despite the fact that school attendance is not a choice for children; parents play a big role in students’ dropping out. There are plenty of reasons students dropouts. It has been proven that the percentage of student dropouts increases every year. This paper will show certain reasons and give examples of student dropouts. Is a decision for students to dropout? Well, I don’t think it should be a decision because you need education.
First off, students should be paid for having good grades because it encourages them to work harder. They would learn that goals can be achieved with hard work, and hard work has rewards in the end. Many studies have proven that people work harder when they are getting something out of it. For instance, if students were to receive the new iphone 6 plus when they receive an A on their next test, they would try harder and
Would you pay your child for getting good grades?, or would you like to get paid for your good grades? Parents have payed their children for their proficiency several times, and people are starting to realize what a magnificent idea this is. People believe that this can make kids try harder and it can help them gain more knowledge. Others think this could be an unsuitable theory because it makes kids only want to learn for the money. In my opinion, paying kids for good grades is an excellent suggestion.
Having trouble paying for college ? Well you can apply for many scholarships as possible, seek federal financial aid, and utilize private student loans to cover the cost of attendance. In this passage it states ‘’apply for as many scholarships and grants as possible! The money you receive will go directly towards the cost of college, and you do not have to pay it back.’’ Which means it will minimize what you take out student loans and out of your pocket. This essay will illustrate how student can fund their college education.
Sleep, necessary for all living things but apparently students don't get enough. Students complain about the time school starts should be later than what their school regularly starts. VMS's start time is 8:25 while Eastern's is 7:30. According to the time that students wake up and sleep it is estimated that half the students start to go to bed at 10:00 due to practices, sports, or because of homework. Students should have school start at 9:45 and end at approximately 4:15 because of kids sleep at 10:00 they will have at least 9 hours of sleep which is more than enough.
Every year millions of students sign up to take the American College Test program, ACT or the Scholastic Aptitude Test, SAT for college. For a chance to get accepted to a school and for the possibility of scholarships. So for students who do not make the minimum score to go to a university, lose the chances to get a scholarship or even to go to a university. The ACT and SAT have several sections within the test. The two tests predict how well a student will do in college, even though they measure how much the student remembers from his previous classes. The readiness of a student cannot be determined by a test score. When considering a student for admission, a university looks at the student's ACT and SAT scores along with his GPA. The ACT
Teachers are often shamed if they give a student low grade that they believe they don't deserve. Although, if they constantly granted them the score they felt they earned, would they really be benefiting and learning from their mistakes? I believe that if students were praised only when they have accomplished something they have succeeded in, they will then learn from that and try to become better, rather than thinking they've succeeded in that subject and not doing anything to fix the mistakes made.
All in all, kids that is in school who work hard for good grades should be paid for their good grades and hard work for an even better incentive to follow. Students will want to overall to do better in school, would help low income students in various ways, and it will motivate students that struggle with school. Treat school like a job, what if you went to work, and you worked hard, and was not being paid for it,
Today in our society, college education is much more than a want it is a necessity. The reasoning to this is because college graduates earn a higher level of education which is beneficial for them in the workplace and for their future occupation. Not only will this help their well-being but also college education can draw employers and will eventually help them find their lifelong career that they will hopefully be fond of. If college tuition were free this would benefit Americans who try to find other forms of public assistance - according to trade-schools.net which states “There might be a lot fewer Americans who need to seek other forms of public assistance.” To me, this is indicating that if tuition were free the likelihood of Americans needing extra federal benefits would drop drastically because they would be less likely to have debt or unpaid bills. Not only that, but it has been detected that student loan debt has been shown
People should not pay kids for grades. There would be less money for things like field trips and other school activities. In addition, money can’t buy smarts, motivation or school success. And they would not because they are interested in learning, they would be only be learning because they are interested in earning money. People should remember that paying kids for grades won’t help their motivation or school success now and it surely won’t help when they go to college and aren’t paid for their grades. This is an important topic because many people don’t understand and think that kids should be paid for their grades. The significance of my claim is that 66% of people said that kids should be able to be paid for their grades and that they need to do more research on this topic.
...ke school something that the students can look back on and think that it was a meaningful time where they learned a lot about life instead of a time where they thought they would have a break down because they got a low score on a test. School should be a time to make mistakes in a safe environment that they can learn from, not a place that they are petrified to make a mistake for fear of retribution on their grade cards. Its time to change the school system to save future students from becoming stress crazed and to let them know that there is more to this world than a grade card and in the long run it is a very small fraction of life.
In this assignment I will try to persuade you of my beliefs as to whether or schools should
