What creates individuality in us is the ability to have the right to our own opinion. As the rape culture and teenage pregnancy becomes a more apparent issue, abortion surfaces itself as a leading topic in today’s society. Although contraception may be an option for everyone, there are still risks involved and mistakes to be made. Females from a wide range of age groups frequently have abortions today because of wrong decisions and special circumstances. We see various advertisements and propaganda emerging all around us. The news media still continue to outline the pros and cons of having an abortion. Abortion has been the subject of debate for centuries between many human rights activists, religious groups, and even health care practitioners. …show more content…

These individuals have their own understanding about abortion. They take both the pros and cons of abortions into consideration. They do not encourage abortion, nor do they frown upon it. Some professionals that have no opinion regarding abortion might include some medical practitioners. This may be the case because their job might require them to abort baby fetuses, but their religion or other people might hinder their judgment. The usual cause that would make it acceptable for abortion to take place is in the case of rape. If the mother gave no consent for this sexual intercourse to happen, this neutral group would justify that it was not her choice to bear a child, so she has no responsibility over the child. However, if the child was created because of pure stupidity and poor choices, abortion may not be the right decision. This group of people may also put themselves in the shoes of both parties, the mother and baby. If the child was raised in a harmful environment, he or she might experience some form of psychological trauma. Likewise, the mother who undergoes abortion may also feel the same, as it will always be in her mind that she might have murdered a person. Some may argue that it would be best for everyone to have the child put up for adoption. Whatever the situation may be, there will always be something that might question the outcome.
