Short Sotry: Vik and Nya

“‘Was Daisy driving’,’ ‘Yes,’ he said after a moment, ‘but of course I’ll say I was.’” The ultimate sacrifice, this last page showed Nya what she had to do. She had been reading the book over and over ever since she found it outside the gates of the city; this book was her guidance, her Bible. This book had shown her how her whole life was a lie, that everyone’s life was a lie. The publish date was 15th of April 1925, exactly 2000 years ago tomorrow; it had shown her that there once was a time with hope, passion and real love.

Looking over the book, or that was what she thought it was called, she saw Vik. Vik and Nya had been friends for as long as she could remember, they even had the same birthday; they would both be turning 18 on the 15th of April. This was the day they would both take ‘the test’; this test would decide who they would both spend the rest of their lives with, this test would apparently diminish all sins.
