Recommended: The qualities that make a hero

A hero is a person you love or admire. A hero doesn’t want a reward. A hero wants support or help from a person. We are all heroes, but we see ourselves as nothing. To be a hero you must have some factors like bravery and sacrifice. Any person in the world can be hero. Even a young person could be a strong hero in the future. A hero doesn’t have to kill many soldiers in a war. Even small sacrifices for a poor person could be considered as heroism. For example, someone needs blood to be alive and you donate some of your blood to give him chance. In this example you did a small favor for a parson. You see it nothing, but it is more valuable than you think. In this essay I will write about a hero made big changes in Kuwait and saved many people’s lives from danger. The hero is Sheikh Jabber Al-Ahmed Jabber Al-Sabah.
Sheikh Jabber Al-Sabah was the president of Kuwait. He was educated at Al-Mubarakiya School, Al Ahmadiya School then awarded him an honorary doctorate from the University of Japan, on October 14, 1965. That’s meant he reserved the certificate without being taught at the university. His father, Sheikh Ahamd Al-Jabbber, was a large influence in his life. His father was interested in culture and education. In the beginning of his career in 1949, his father appointed him as vice president of al Ahmadi city. He Started gaining some skills in leadership and began to recognize the government management and policy, and he was responsible for the public secure. Through his work in Al Ahmadi, he started to know more about the importance of oil and the economy, and continued this business for 10 years until 1959.
After the death of sheikh Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah on 31 December 1981, Sheikh Jabber Al-Sabah became president of Kuwait...

...l Sabah was a great man to Kuwait. Sheikh Jabber Al Sabah succeeded with winning the hearts for people of Kuwait. Sheikh Jabber Al Sabah showed me that anything can be achieved. Sheikh Jabber always listened to people’s problems, no matter how big the problem. He always discovered a way to solve people’s problems. That is the reason why people of Kuwait love him as their own father. The work achieved by Sheikh Jabber Al Sabah is huge. Sheikh Jabber Al Sabah man of peace and vision. He also created the Reserve Fund for future generations, a fund to collect money from oil revenues, is to save the stability of future generations as the oil age material limited the right of future generations to take their share of (askari, 1958). His name will never be forgotten from people of Kuwait. In my opinion, life without Sheikh Jabber Al Sabah is difficult for people of Kuwait.

Hussein is also known as a ruthless leader who used chemical weapons on Kurdish people seeking freedom in the 1980’s. In August, 1990, Hussein invaded and annexed Kuwait for violating oil production laws set by the Organization of Petroleum Exports Countries(OPEC). (Kuwait had lowered the price of oil.) The Iraqi forces killed many Kuwaiti people and stole or destroyed much property. Hussein apparently wanted to use Kuwait’s vast oil resources to help Iraq’s economy. Many people believed that Iraq would next invade neighboring countries such as Saudi Arabia. Some of the countries that opposed Iraq’s invasion and that sent forces to this region were the United States, Canada, and several Arab and Western European nations. These countries formed an allied military coalition that caused a worldwide embargo against Iraq. The United Nations Security Council condemned Iraq’s occupation and approved the use of military force on Iraq if their troops did not withdraw from Kuwait by January 15, 1991. Hussein ignored this demand and refused to withdraw. The consequence of this decision was to go to war. On January 16, 1991, the allies bombed military targets in Iraq and Kuwait. Iraq, in return, launched missiles against Saudi Arabia and Israel. The U.S.-led military coalition drove Iraq’s armies out of Kuwait. This war, called the Persian Gulf War, lasted only six weeks.
