Sex is what you have in your pants, gender is what you identify as and actually are. Sex and gender can be different but gender is always right. If gender says you’re a girl and your sex says otherwise, you are still a girl. You can be born the wrong sex. Gender is what you we supposed to be and are. Sex can be wrong, not gender. Many western first world societies consider sex to be what a person is and consider that a person must behave according to their birth sex and that changing your sex to match your gender is wrong. Many places think that people who have a different gender than their birth sex have a mental problem or just want attention. When really they were supposed to be born the same sex as their gender, but ended up being born the wrong sex. This causes lots of problems for people who aren’t cisgendered, it makes people less accepting of them, they have more issues acquiring a job, more often suffer abuse/cruelty and lack many rights. Unfortunately even within the LGBTQ movement Trans people can face hatred. People who are Trans tend to face hatred for dressing and behave according to their gender instead of their birth sex. And many people still consider them to be their birth sex even after going thru the entire sex change procedure.
There are tons of different sexualities in different societies. The most well know ones being heterosexuality, homosexuality, bisexuality, pan sexuality, poly sexuality, and asexuality. Most western worlds consider heterosexuality to be the norm. Most sexualities are based on what physical things a person likes. Ei. ...er, have a stable career and become less interested in sex. While women are expected to get married, have children and become less emotional. Commonly an older male without a job or good retirement from a good job is deemed unsuccessful and weak. While an older women without a job would be considered family oriented, preparing for a child or supported by a lover. An older woman whose unmarried is considered unattractive and not a good part of society, while an unmarried man is considered work oriented and independent. Older men highly interested in sex are usually called creepy or childish while an old woman highly interested in sex is called a good wife or a MILF (both of these assume the women is either married or has children). Older men commonly get called attractive while older women get consider unable to have sex. This idea is strongly related to menopause.
