The Talent sewing of Apprentice women in Albireh, Ramallah, Israel was formed by Friends School and Ramallah Scouts In the summer of 1977, I learned sewing as a craft and an apprentice. I engaged in a humanistic collective learning process. One months later We all had a shared interest in sewing small items to raise a fund for a little girl who need heart transplant surgery . We had three months to learn, sell and raise the funds.We all shared a concern for the little girl . We were all neighbors, friends and relatives with close family ties. The project provided new and intriguing learning opportunities to spend the summer vacation productively.
We all came together , shared the smile and the experience. Our knowledge expanded and minds enlightened ,ideas flew coherently and a productive reality shone through the clouds. Cop started from the scratch and developed maturely and fully. I felt at that time that it was a lovely opportunity to learn and grow in a fun atmosphere. This CoP focuses on

The learning occurred in an educational setting with recognition to the social structures that served the main target of the population and was a determining factor in assessing social learning objectives and needs. A various points throughout the night we came across other officers who were dealing with accidents and various other tasks. Unless there was a rush to respond to a call, Officer Crutchman would slow his cruiser down and check to see if his fellow officers required assistance. Furthermore, after assisting multiple officers from his unit in a potential trespass violation at a local school, instead of driving going about their separate ways the officers began swapping arrest stories and offering their opinions on the progression of the resulting criminal cases. Afterwards, between some hilarious joke telling, the talk moved to personal and professional concerns and issues; one officer had a badly fitting bullet-proof vest that was on loan. This powerful; quote by Solomon Ortiz aims its intention to show how vital the correlation of teachers and students are. Teachers and students mutually benefit from one other to prosper. I could relate to the quote and meaning behind it. During my tenure at Derby High School, I had one teacher in particular that served as a positioning lasting impact during my course at high school and for the rest of my life. That teacher and I shared experiences in the classroom, football field, and in life in general. Teachers help us expand and open our mind by giving us skills throughout students’ early life to help students when they are older. By learning information from teachers, students become better people, in a couple of ways. Besides inquiring knowledge from their teachers, students learn to work with one another, open their mind to other peoples’ thoughts and ideas, respect one another, and learn different techniques for life’s issues.
Benjamin Franklin said “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.” Education opens the door for everyone to excel in life. To become a strong nation, its people, especially children, must have a good education so the nation can continue to excel and become stronger. Nevertheless, America is suffering through an education crisis today. The current statistics show that the United States is falling behind in education compared to other countries. The illiteracy rate is high, and the graduation rates for inner city children are low. The causes of this crisis are everyday problems such as lack of interest in school, poverty, and standardized testing. There are many solutions to the problem, but one solution, Professional Learning Communities, is more effective because teachers, administrators, and parents come together as a whole, to help the children. Despite the child’s background, the school community comes together to help the school. The method used to test Professional Learning Communities is a previous case study of PLCs in Twin Falls Idaho school district. The entire school district consists of mostly white middle class families. The school created a Quality School Committee to create and implement new ideas to improve the school district, and standardized the main subjects. In the end, the entire student body improved in test scores and other assessments. Other cases studies have been done on PLCs and other solutions are mentioned in this research paper. Nevertheless, Professional Learning Communities make a difference.
After spending some time reading about effective teaching, I found that one of the key aspects that seemed to come up most was communication. I believe that as a teacher you will need to have a range of communication, interpersonal and group skills. Communication is not just about being able to speak with your students , but also include writing, reading, listening with your eyes and ears, and also body language.( Ornstein, Lasley ,2004) For effective communication a teacher must interact and communicate respect , there should always be respect for the students, Parents, Colleague’s and their network of educational professionals . I feel that listening deeply and giving credit for the student’s contributions will encourage respect from the students, a great example of this can be seen in the (Online course: Becoming a Teacher,2005). The learning environment connects the classroom to the community through a democratic approach. This community based learning brings the world into the classroom so students can implement social change and challenge social inequalities. The curriculum focuses on student experience and taking social action on real problems such as hunger, violence, and discrimination. It is important to instruct students to explore in group settings so they can work together to analyze and develop theories that can help each other and make a real different in the world. Acknowledging and facilitating individual needs with resources that enrich the learning process. This could be attained by taking the classroom and the learning outside, to another classroom either in person or via Skype, inviting community members into the classroom to share information and to participate with children in the activities and learning opportunities (Claiborne, Morrell, Bandy & Bruff, 2014).
The unique thing about this campus is that each classroom is named after a quality. For example, the classroom names are Unity, Humanity, and Innovation and so on. Just like the classroom name, a confident teacher entered our classroom.
For some reason or another certain students are drawn to particular teachers while other students are more fond of others. In my life I have studied under three memorable teachers. Teachers with which I was able to connect, to laugh, to share my misgivings. While I may have been close with each of these teachers, it is very clear, in retrospect, that each was very unique, and represented an entirely different class of teacher.
Mrs. Pollard and Mrs. Davidson would use the technique of management by walking around a lot during their lessons. This allowed them to observe the entire class and be able to notice details that may not have been seen if they simply remained in the front of the room. Mr. Leonhardt used his student’s names a lot. This served as a positive reinforcement for the students when they were doing a good job, and also was a way for them to know that they were not going to get away with any bad behavior. This was because the act of the teacher using their names to direct comments towards specific people almost made it seem like he saw and noticed everything that was going on. All three teachers also made a point to use more positive speech, rather than negative. This is effective because it lets students know what they should do or keep doing, instead of constantly reminding them what not to do. The students definitely responded better to the teacher’s positive comments, especially if their names were specifically mentioned as students who were doing what they were supposed to be
