Good morning everyone, today I'm going to present my major findings in IES, my enquiry title is how does the internet affects adolescents' socio-political participation. Objectives of the present studies are as follows, First, to know whether the internet changes the form of socio-political participation of adolescents. Secondly, is to find out if the internet raise their awareness to social issues. At last, the project aims to find out does the internet affect their political inclination.
The focus questions are written on the PowerPoint, please take a look, in short, they are about the effects brought by internet on adolescents' socio -political participations concerning the willingness, frequency , form and level of participation.
Let's look at the research methodology together, the present studies contains primary information and secondary, for primary information, questionnaires are distributed in Feb 2014, 79 of them were collected and 76 of them fall in the target group. 3 of them which are above 20 and are ignored.
So, it's the time for my major findings, first of all, the table in the slide shows the Frequency of participating socio-political events before and after approaching the internet. As we can all see that, more people participated in socio political events after they have approached the internet. For example, the number of respondents who rates 'sometimes' as their frequency of participation increased from 9.2% to 30.2% of the total respondents. Also, fewer respondents rate their frequency as 'never'. It show that adolescents participate more in socio-political events after approaching the internet.

...heir viewpoint most easily. One thing that is mentioning is that 19 respondents claimed that they will never change their political inclination/ viewpoint. From the above information, we can see that the internet play an important role in changing or establishing adolescent's political inclination. It is a common factor of them changing their viewpoint.
In conclusion, I've find out the positive relations between adolescents online frequency and their frequency, willingness, perception of usefulness of socio-political participation. Also, adolescents will have a higher interest in current affairs if they approach the internet more. The changes brought by the internet on the form of participation are also found. Also, I know that the internet plays an important role in establishing their viewpoint towards social issues.
This is the end of my presentation, thank you!
of the total fat. Oleic acid (C18:1) is the predominant fatty acid in L and M (37% and 57%, respectively), while SBO, APS and IES contain predominantly linoleic acid (C18:2; 53%, 44% and 42%, respectively). APS and IES have approximately the same content of SFA, MUFA and PUFA, with slightly higher values of SFA for IES due to higher stearic acid content. In addition, IES contains less palmitic acid, oleic and linoleic acid. Functional properties of lipids are summarized in Table 3. Lipid sources
Introduction "There is only one boss: the customer. And he can fire everybody in the company from the chairman on down, simply by spending his money somewhere else." (In the know, 2002). This statement by Walton makes clear that the relation a company has to its customers should have highest priority. Customer relationship management (CRM) software, which grew to a big part of the "industry-supporting" software field in the last decade, offers companies a way to collect and evaluate data about their
Studying abroad can be one of the most rewarding experiences in a college’s students career. For many colleges, having their students can mean an increase in tuition, higher application rates, and overall better reviews by their students. According to the Indianapolis Business Journal, by Scott Olsen, “The Wall Street Journal reported last month that several small colleges are requiring students to pay full tuition even if the programs cost less, setting caps on the amount of financial aid sent abroad
A Scholar, as defined by the IES, are people that tend to be interested in learning more about other cultures, rather than cultivating relationships. They also seem to be resilient when confronted with challenging situations (The Kozai Group, Inc., 2009). The results of the IES confirm my limitation of fearing the unknown (or another culture), in addition to my strength of perseverance as outlined in
By the end of this academic year, I would end up with 10 out of 11 required courses in Economics. The study abroad program that I have chosen to be a part of titled “IES Study London” encompasses a comprehensive British experience that greatly stands out as a program that covers subjects ranging from theatre to finance. Although I would mostly be taking political science/sociology classes, I would get a huge opportunity
An entrepreneur is a person who sets up a business or businesses, taking on financial risks in hopes of making a profit. Prior to presenting our entrepreneurship promotion project, many of our students had a limited, if any idea, of what an entrepreneur is. The purpose of our entrepreneurship promotion project was to educate our fellow classmates on the roles of an entrepreneur and what it takes to become one. Entrepreneurs have to work through extreme measures in order to gain success aside from
parents will choose not to place their child in public schools and educate their precious bundles of joy themselves. As of Spring 2007, an estimated 2.9% of children are being home schooled in the United States alone. That’s over 1.5 million students. (IES) Parents’ reasoning for home-schooling their children is really no secret either. A survey taken in 2007 has shown the kinds of motivation parents have for educating their own offspring: 35% of parents home-schooled their kids for... ... middle of

Govind Thomas-Richardson M. White Pre/AP World History 16 November 2015 Communism vs. Fascism Communism and Fascism are often mistakenly used interchangeably. However, this is not the case. Although they are similar in authoritarian aspects, they are polar opposites on the economic scale (communism being on the left and fascism on the right). Communism is a system of social organization based on the unified ownership of all property in common with regard to the community or the state. Fascism, however

Bachinsky and the non-fiction film Grizzly Man by Werner Herzog, both authors illustrate a type of discrimination in society through the use of point of view and genre. Bachinsky highlights the dehumanizing effect on victims after naming them ‘the bod(ies)’ and Herzog depicts the border drawn between society and nature through the critiques of a man’s devotion to bears. The point of view determines the method of persuasion, display of the story, and language used to illustrate arguments. Both stories
Understanding the Educational Gap Between Nevada and Wisconsin Statistics is defined as “the science that deals with the collection, classification, analysis, and numerical facts or data” (Dictionary.com,2012). Sometimes it is important to analyze statistical data in order to understand how something works or doesn’t work. In the case of American public education, there is tons of statistical data being thrown around, but what do all of these numbers really mean? How does this data help us? Although
There are some words that are simply not associated with one another very often. Some examples include: pizza and disgusting, war and happiness, Marilyn Monroe and ugly. Another combination of words that could be added to this list is ‘women and psychopaths’. The women that many men call psychopaths for wanting them to settle down not withstanding, there is very little association with women and psychopathy. This statement is not only true for the general public, but is also true for experts
Eclectic approach. According to Thase (2013), “two forms of therapy may be comparably useful for treatment” (Thase, 2013, p. 955). In an eclectic manner, this therapist would draw from different theoretical approaches that could be beneficial for Linda.
