What are some solutions that can help the planet reduce pollution. People could stop being so cretinous on what is happening around the world instead of making excuses for every little problem they encounter. They are wasting their time thinking that the earth is going to be clean from one day to another, they are wrong One of the possible solutions for ignorance and the world’s problems would be to get people together and start thinking of better ways to build efficient vehicles, houses, schools, dumps areas, waste management, and maintain forests.
One solution that would help reduce the amount of carbon put into the air would be by build better efficient schools. Bathrooms would definitely be better for the conservation of water, instead of using 5 to 6 gallons to flush a toilet, people could use 1 gallon of water. School should definitely change their bathrooms so that they can be more water conservatory and not make that much noise as well. Air pressure could be put together with water so that together they can clean the toxins faster and cleaner. There could be bathrooms per class so which students could go use instead of leaving the classroom. The bathrooms must consist of basic utilities but more improved ways.
Bathrooms should be designed in a new way that will provide comfort, silence, and more toilet paper. Bathrooms could be changed to add efficient blow-dryers powered by solar power and wind turbines. Instead of having to push a faucet on and off there could be sensors that dispense the water when their hands are close to the sensors. The light bulbs in the bathrooms could be 28 watt florescent bulbs powered by solar or wind power. There should be two bathrooms per class room and a wide amount of bathr...

...e powered by solar energy and the rest could be powered by wind turbines. These two solutions could save up tons of coal that would have been burned to make energy.
Solar panels could be installed outside of the school and gather up energy for the sensors, cameras, bulbs, and sprinklers. The school should have natural lighting as well so that fewer bulbs are turned on or if they are turned on, they could be florescent bulbs. The solar panels could be installed in the schools roof to gather energy directly from the sun. These solar panels would contribute a lot to the salvation to the earth’s resources.

The issue presented in this paper is how one can aim to reduce the amounts released, and what the best ways to solve this problem are. This has been long debated amongst scientists, businessmen, Industry-owners, and politicians amongst many other eminent figures in society. The four major approaches to reducing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere include: subsidies of alternative energy, cap and trade, carbon taxes, and command and control regulation. We will examine and compare the effectiveness of two of these methods: The carb...
In the end, the greatest way to help is by spreading awareness. Help spread the word by telling everyone you know about the greenhouse effect and global warming. By making them see what is at stake, and ask them to help save our planet. Encourage others to conserve and share information about recycling and energy conservation with your co-workers, friends, neighbors, and family. Recapping what can be done we all should get out there and plant some trees and plants so we can help the greenhouse gasses to decrease. Reduce the emissions from household products by turning them off. Most importantly remember to spread the word and the three R’s: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle!
...ricts, I can’t ignore the fact that districts such as mine, which has already lost so much of its funding, are in need of inexpensive ways to increase efficiency. Another technique implemented in Japan is the use of students as janitors: each day a group of students is assigned to clean their classroom. I believe that if the number of janitors in our schools must be reduced the students should play a part in keeping their environment tidy, be it out of goodwill or punishment. I see this as a great, economical opportunity to maintain the school’s image and promote service.
In addition to lowering greenhouse gas levels and using cleaner energy sources, there are things we can do as people to stop climate change. We could reduce our use of electricity at our homes by turning off the lights when we leave the room, turning down/up the heating/ac when it is unnecessary, and using less water. Also, we could install solar panels in our homes and donate money to environmental protection agencies. Hopefully, the people of our world will soon realize climate change is a pressing issue that must be solved as soon as
When we reduce greenhouse gases, we reduce the amount of carbon dioxide that is released into the atmosphere. By not burning things such as fossil fuels as natural gas, coal, oil and gasoline we reduce global warming. Other things we can do to reduce greenhouse gas emissions is by using less heat and air conditioning. Some experts say that by just reducing the heat by 2 degrees in the winter and higher in the summer can save about 2,000 pounds of carbon dioxide each year. Also by reducing, reusing and recycling half of household waste we can save 2,400 pounds of carbon dioxide annually. There are things a person can do hardly without even thinking that can help the cause of climate change such as replacing your lightbulbs, driving less, driving smart, buying energy-efficient products, using less hot water, planting trees and encouraging others to
First and foremost, in order to make any difference in the amount of C02 in the environment, low/no-carbon technology must be developed and implemented. This can’t be done without money however, and that is something greatly lacking for this cause. Both the government and the people have to support the fight against greenhouse gasses...
There are no known solutions yet to reverse these effects in the environment, however there are many things people can do to prevent them from increasing. By implementing a carbon tax, the government can tax corporations on how much carbon they emit into the atmosphere. With the extra money from the tax, scientists can invest in alternative ways to reduce how much carbon is emitted. Reducing climate change is going to take years and so nothing is going to get fixed anytime soon, but meanwhile, we can use that extra money to begin cleaning up the atmosphere. There are many ways to explain climate change, some say its due to the emission of carbon dioxide (CO2) into the atmosphere, others say it is the burning of the fossil fuels, some even say it’s the greenhouse gases.
According to the internet human behavior has a very big affect on the environment. Environmental settings such as air pollution, oceans, energy, or noise are all sources that can negatively impact the environmental quality and conditions. Our daily routines have a huge impact on the environment and we do not realize it. New laws that are passing and educating people will help a lot. People are being educated on how to use less water, use our cars less, how to use less energy, and even taking reusable bags when going grocery shopping because plastic bags are very bad for the environment. There are simple solutions that can help in getting started with these efforts. Every little step and effort we make in our daily routines count.
In this modern fast paced world that we live in, there are many issues that are looked over, energy is one of these. As a world, we are dependant on dwindling fossil fuel supplies and take for granted electricity, oil, and gas. There are four completely renewable sources of energy around us that should be used and developed, they are: wind, growing plants, flowing water, and the sun. These sources of energy are the ones we should be tapping, because they are reliable and renewable. Harnessing the suns energy is the most certain and ultimate energy source. Looking at a brief history and some facts about solar energy, a glimpse of the future can be seen, a future not dependant on fossil fuels.
The educational system of New York City is in a state of turmoil at this point. There are a number of teachers, many students are failing and most parents have lost faith in our unqualified educational system. This brings us to the question of who is responsible for the problems and how can we rectify our educational system through the use of school reform.
In addition to the fact that solar, wind, and hydro power are local resources, they are also emission free resources. Emissions and pollution are a key concern with traditional power sources. The coal-fired plants that dominate U.S. energy production also produce more emissions than any other energy source. “Em...
People can also reduce the use of fossil fuels by doing simple things for instance switching off lights and appliances when leaving the room. Walking or cycling instead of driving a car or use public transport for maybe longer journeys. Little things like this will make a big difference, making our planet a better place.
However, with a scarcity of coal, more power would be generated from other sources like nuclear, solar and hydro. However, producing electricity from these sources for huge supply would be difficult.
Our planet is suffering from severe pollution, which ranges from contaminated air, water and soil as well. Humans are doing nothing to reduce the amount of pollution that is harming our earth. To understand how pollution works first you must understand that there are different types of pollution. The most common types of pollution and the ones that I will be focusing on which are the ones doing the most harm to our planet are air pollution, water pollution, soil contamination and littering. In order to help out and reduce pollution in our planet people need to be more aware of what these problems are and about the severe damages that they are causing our planet. Before industrialization really jumped into place and had an effect on large cities, nature had its own way of cleaning up its own air and itself. Wind scattered gases, rain washed many substances and the rest dissolved into the ground; while plants absorbed carbon dioxide and made it into oxygen. With big cities growing more every time and with more towns that were becoming more industrialized a lot of more waste began to be released into the environment and the atmosphere and soon this was more than enough for nature to handle. In order to stop and reduce pollution people need to understand the damage that it is causing our environment and our planet as well. People need to be more aware of how they can help out and do their part in reducing these problems that are causing our planet to die slowly with people not even noticing it.
In recent years global warming has been on the rise. The importance of this issue is so that we as a nation can be aware of the drastic changes which are occurring rapidly around the world. Although there isn 't one set resolution to solve climate change, we must continue to carry out ways to put it to a halt. Some of the ways I believe we can cut this crisis is to stop polluting the manufacturing of toxic gases which is filling our environment with smog. If we all put our ideas and opinions in ways to prevent some causes of climate change, the world in which we live will be a better place. Instead of being a part of the problem we can be a part of the solution. Opposed to just humans, animals, and other species are affected as a result of
