Q.1-Describe your career fair experience
On Thursday, October 1st, I attended the career fair held at Northeastern University. This was the first time in my life that I have participated in any job fair. Overall, it was very helpful even though I’m only a first semester graduate student and very unlikely to get hired. Getting the experience early on in my college career is very valuable and one of the employers even complemented me on coming to the job fair at such an early time. There were several companies I spoke to such as: eBay, Verizon, eClinicalWorks, HP, IBM, Affirmed Networks, CDM Smith, Demandware, Epic and many more.
The first company I spoke with was IBM and then HP. Primarily both the companies were hiring for full time job. But they were very impressed by my communication skills and knowledge in software development.

Next I talked to eBay. As far as jobs go, they aren’t looking for a specific type of major—this is because eBay offers a wide variety of jobs, so anyone can do just about anything. In terms of internships, or coop, I would shadow a...
