As a country, we have seen many changes. A big change has been the legalization of same- sex marriage. 1.8% of males say they 're gay,and 1.5% of woman said they are lesbian according to a poll was taken in 2013 by the CDC. 60% of Americans are for same-sex marriage. But after a survey taken in February of 2015, 53% of Americans agree that marriage should be defined only as a union between one man and one woman. I believe that same-sex marriage should not be legalized. There are more cons than pros with same-sex marriage that it should just stay illegal. Same-sex marriage should not be legalized in the united states for the following reasons. God created marriage for a man and woman only. Homosexuals using their surrogate mother and sperm donor wrongly. How straight men are scientifically better than homosexual men in relationships. God created marriage for a man and a woman only. When god created Adam he made Eve not another Adam. In other words, partnerships need a difference as well as similarity as we see in a significant other. If god intended the human race to be fulfilled in both heterosexually homosexually marriage, he would have designed our bodies to allow reproduction through both means of sexual intercourse. In other words look at two puzzle pieces two male ends do not fit together and two female ends do not fit together a male and a female fit together. That 's how it should be with people too. Homosexuals using their surrogate mother and sperm donor wrong. When people fight for same-sex marriage they say about a marriage should be for more than just a man and woman. But what they don 't think about is what if the said couple wants a kid, they have to use a surrogate mother or a sperm donor. To conclude my paper I just want to say that there are valid points on both sides of this argument. To one person they might be for it while the next will be against same-sex marriage. Either way, no one can change me of my opinion which is that same-sex marriage should not be legal and that the whole idea should be just thrown away. No one on earth let alone the united states will be happy if it stays legal but it also means no one will be happy if it doesn 't stay legal. So if you are for it good for you, if you are against it good for you because either way your opinion and mine are irrelevant to anyone and that is just how humans are.
