How is it that today over 32 states have legalized same sex marriage, whereas only 18 states have a marriage ban through either state laws and or constitutional amendments? Marriage equality is something that the United States has had to deal with for a very long time, and it is something that is highly debated between peers. There are many who would try to persuade you that this is okay and that marriage equality should be allowed for all. I am here to argue against this and to provide to you thoughtful information as to why this is not the case, and that same sex marriage is and always has been wrong. Whether it be for the children, economical reasons, or moral/civil rights issues, there are many reasons as to why this topic should not be allowed.
First off, some might argue that even though same sex couples cannot naturally have a child that they can still adopt a child and in doing this they can then provide a loving and caring environment for a child who otherwise wouldn’t have a home. The case of the marriage is that same sex marriage always denies a child either a mother or a father, children are easily influenced and they need parenting help (Tps). These people are violating the natural order set in place by God, and when one does this it is considered a sin. Marriage was created by God, it was not created in a state or in a room full of people in favor of marriage equality, he created it when he first created Adam and Eve. In the book of Genesis it is quoted as saying, “God created man in His Image;in the Divine image he created him; male and female He created them. God blessed them, saying: ‘Be fertile and multiply; fill the Earth and subdue it.’”(Gen 1:28-29). Also Genesis teaches us of how God punished Sodom and Gomorrah for the sin of Homosexuality and it goes to say about how god rained fire upon the two for the atrocities they had
