Inside a harbor, a boat can’t traverse oceans, set wars in motion, or discover new lands. Figuratively, we, the people, are the ships, and our safe haven is our comfort zone. Without reaching out of your comfort zone, you can’t conquer your world. You can’t make a difference. You need take a risk. Leave your safe haven and explore.

San Francisco, California is another great place to sail due to the fact that its known for its ideal sailing weather. There are many choices of sights to see when sailing in San Francisco. The city is home to the Golden gate bridge which is a sight to sail under. Also the famous Alcatraz island which was an infamous prison that was deemed un escapable is located in San Francisco. Due to its wildlife the Galapagos islands are an amazing place to visit. The island are located 600 miles west of the Equadorian coasts. These island are also where Charles Darwin studied and proved the evidence of evolution.

Esther attempts to sort through her great-grandmother's past, and her entire family's history. Away is a compelling novel that capture's the reader's attention in the first few pages.

The combination of giddy grin, round cheeks, and fine, yellow, tousled hair yielded a face far too boyish for a man in his mid-fifties. But the always-present twinkle in Fred's eye was ever so slightly diminished today, and I knew why: he feared that his intuition might be mistaken and that I might not, after all, take to today's activity. His concern was compounded by weather; it was far from ideal for this, my first sail. Why was it so important to him that I like sailing anyway?

I was smacked in the face by a gust of hot, humid Texas air as I found my way off the bus. The once brisk morning was getting hotter by the second. My friend Kristi and I looked towards our left and there she was, the Norwegian Sea. The cruise liner that we would be on for the next week. It was the biggest ship I had ever seen up close.
