The great United States, the land aspired by many. And loved by many more. A country that credits its people for what they do, and allows for equal opportunity for all. United States has been named the melting pot of the world. It takes in millions of different people every year, giving them a hope of a better life. Even though American culture is so diverse it is still very different from Ukrainian culture. Education, family core values, and pace of life are on the many things that differentiate the Ukrainian and American culture. However things like freedom and the modern spread of the Internet are slowly changing these two cultures. Although Ukraine is slowing modernizing, and conforming to western customs education still needs much improvement. …show more content…

Both cultures always see holidays as a way to bond with family. People travel hundreds of miles to be with loved ones. Like Americans once fought a war for freedom. Now Ukrainians are fighting their own war. Many casualties have been lost to this never-ending war for peace. People fight in hopes for seeing their future kin having a better life. They hope for bringing the great American dream to Ukraine. So one they Ukraine just like America could be the envy of the world. For many years Ukraine has been the underdog to Russia. Now it’s showing its true colors in this war. However this war isn’t between Russia and Ukraine but it 's a civil war. A new era of democracy is ahead, but because of so much corruption a war has to be fought to weed out the bad from the good. The Internet has a power unmatched by any other resource. It has definitely sparked this war in Ukraine. When citizens of Ukraine see how great American freedom is, they strive for the same thing. America and Ukraine are both now seeing the benefits of the web. No longer can a country control what its citizens hear and see. Now everything is out there the good, the bad, and the ugly.
