Without their high standards they would be much better off they possible could have completely avoided this problem. Think about today's society, a good percentage of people say that money does not matter, or race and family name. Back in their time that was everything. They both could have found their true personality. In the script Lord Capulet tries to marry off his daughter to pass on their wealth. He says “ We have wrought so worthy a gentleman to be her bride?”(lll,V, 150). This shows that their status is most important to keep their blood alive. This causes people to not accept other than perfect matches that everyone agrees on. This also is another reason why they were the blame for their death. In conclusion, As we know they are dead, Romeo and Juliet are the real blames for their death. With any conflict ever in history, there is always this question - Who do we blame? Now with “ The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet ”, there is a lot of potential people that could have been blamed for the death of Romeo and Juliet. Fate, Romeo and Juliet, and Friar Lawrence are all to be blamed for the death of Romeo and Juliet. One may disagree, but key evidence is here to back the opinion up.
Every action we take, decision we make, and person we fall in love with always leads us to our inevitable destiny. Some people are meant to live happily ever after while others may not be so lucky. Romeo and Juliet ended up being one of those not so lucky couples. Born as enemies, their love ended up pulling them closer to their destiny which was proven to be death. The main people that can be blamed for the death of Romeo and Juliet are Juliet, Friar Lawrence, and Romeo.
Shakespeare doesn't idealize Romeo and Juliet. He is careful to remind us that their love is destructive partly because it fails to see life as it really is. Romeo and Juliet do not act with caution, patience, or wisdom. They act on impulse and in haste--and they get bad advice. Answer the following questions for this argument:
Finally the last reason why Romeo and Juliet could be held responsible for their own deaths could be that they shouldn’t have taken the potions, both Romeo and Juliet. They both had much more to live for than just each other, ‘For fear of that I will stay with thee, And never from this palace of dim night Depart again. Here, here will I remain’ There are many people and things to blame for the deaths, the parents, fate, the family feud, Paris, The Nurse, Prince, Friar Lawrence, and Romeo and Juliet, but each has its own good qualities of why it could be those people. It is really a personal decision on who is at fault and how you view the book.
What is most responsible for the two lovely lovers – Romeo and Juliet’s death? In my opinion, there is no one particular person to really blame for their death. However, it is every single person should be blamed for the deaths of both Romeo and Juliet. If I was answering the question of who were the few most responsible people for their tragedy it would be three people. Because of people’s decisions and different points of view, the people most responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet are Lady Capulet, Nurse, and Friar Lawrence.
In conclusion, As we know they are dead, Romeo and Juliet are the real blames for their death. Romeo and Juliet's deaths were tragic and sad, Yes they could have avoided their tragic deaths, but the true blame is on them. The deaths of Romeo and Juliet was their fault. The reasons are too many to count but the main three is they were emotional teenagers without good thought processing. They were Irrational and not thinking. Romeo and Juliet was a couple that was doomed from the start. They were two kids who had no idea what they could possibly be doing. Had they had true guidance, maybe they wouldn’t have died. Friar Laurence and Tybalt are to blame for the deaths of Romeo Montague and Juliet Capulet.
Most of the time, young minds are not always capable of making good decisions. Romeo and Juliet refused to see this, which ultimately led them to their demise. Their course of action had disrupted the great chain of being, which started and concluded the chaos in the play. Furthermore, Shakespeare had written out alternate option for both the lovers and yet, they both refused to see them, and continued to disrupt the system. Finally, Romeo and Juliet had acted with haste, sealing their tragic fate. The choices the that the two “star-crossed lovers” made, led them to their death.
Who is the most to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet? There are many opinions on who is to blame for the deaths of these "star crossed lovers." One of these opinions is that both Romeo and Juliet are equally to blame for their own deaths. Romeo nor Juliet knew how to resolve their own problems and went directly to Friar Lawrence. Whenever Romeo and Juliet failed to resolve their problem, their resolution was suicide. Romeo and Juliet also withheld the love affair between them, from their families.
In William Shakespeare's The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet two young lovers lost their lives when hate and love collided. From the Montagues came Romeo and from the Capulets was Juliet. The two families were feuding and Romeo and Juliet could not stand being without each other. They both killed themselves because they thought life was not worth living without the other. Though there are many who can be blamed for this tragic ending, there are three that are the most responsible. Mercutio, The Nurse, and Friar Laurence are the three that deserve the most blame.
One of the key reasons, Romeo and Juliet were merely victims of their parents rage, was mainly their lack of communication and active listening. Modern age families can be torn apart because of miscommunication. Half the time it’s a problem that a five minute conversation would have fixed. But of course not every thirteen year old’s solution is to kill herself if her parents are not listening. In the story, Juliet is saddened by the fact that Romeo has been banished and doesn’t want to marry Paris. Instead of her father being attentive and asking Juliet what is wrong, he erupts in a fury and threatens to disown juliet if she does not marry. Seeing that either of her parents will listen, she then kills herself.
Romeo and Juliet. The classic and most well known story of true love. However, most true love is nothing but tragedy in the end, as it was in this story. In the end, both lovers die from their own hands. Many people agree it is not their fault for their deaths. After all, can you blame a leaf for falling from a tree when it’s branch is withering and forces that are as strong as gravity or are pulling it down? You can’t blame a suicidal person for their death, especially when they lose the love of their life. The real culprit in this case, is none other than Juliet’s cousin Tybalt. For numerous reasons, such as, his hatred for Romeo from the beginning and his known hot temper and prideful arrogance.
After reading the play ‘Romeo and Juliet’ I have decided that the fatal flaws of Romeo, Juliet and Mercutio are partly responsible for their own deaths. Even though they did not intentionally cause their death, they did intentionally cause the factors which led to their deaths for example opposing their parents’ decision, marrying each other, getting into fights, and loving each other too much. But I do not think that they are greatly responsible when their families are more responsible. The families Capulet and Montague had the biggest impact on the lives and deaths of Romeo, Juliet and Mercutio. If these two families did not hate each other and kill their children with their love for one another, the outcome of the play would be different and William Shakespeare's tragedy of Romeo and Juliet would not be the great story that it is today.
Someone has to be to blame for the Romeo and Juliet’s death, and it should be Friar Lawrence and the Nurse’s fault. Friar’s actions are somewhat reasonable, which was ending the feud between the Capulets and Montagues, but he should have picked older, more mature people that were actually ready to get married. In the end, Friar found, “Romeo, there dead, was husband to that Juliet; and she, there dead, that’s Romeo’s faithful wife.”(5.2.23) Even though both Romeo and Juliet committed suicide, it was not their fault. They were both pressured into doing something they weren’t ready to do, by the people they loved. Therefore, Friar Lawrence and the Nurse should be punished, and Romeo should be pardoned.
It wasn’t one thing that caused Romeo and Juliet to kill themselves but many separate factors that worked together to contribute to this sad ending. Like in life, many things are to blame for an incident, not just one. Three of the main reasons they died were, Friar Laurence's fatal mistake, their shared characteristic of impulsiveness and their families feud. This famous love story shows us that with almost everything, there is more than one cause.
