Robertson Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH), which is the flagship of Robert Wood Johnson Health System, is a large non-profit hospital with 965-beds located in New Brunswick and Somerville in Central New Jersey (Robertwood Johnson University Hospital, n.d). It has been ranked among the best hospital in the nation, as well as, with several specialties, and the best place to work by other publications (Robertwood Johnson University Hospital, n.d). Their mission of improving health and well-being to its patients stands out in the communities it serves (Robertwood Johnson University Hospital, n.d).


RWJUH is an academic medical center, a Level 1 Trauma Center, and provides short-term acute care along with an array of other medical services, such as cardiovascular care, women and children care, and cancer treatment (Robertwood Johnson University Hospital, n.d).
RWJUH is known to its community as a leader in providing advanced state-of-the-art innovated medical care (Robertwood Johnson University Hospital, n.d,). Demographically, RWJUH targeted market are patients in need of cardiovascular care, cancer treatment, and medical services for women and children along with traumas through its emergency preparedness center (Robertwood Johnson University Hospital, n.d).


RWJUH, which is partners with Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, has an elite, distinguished, and comprehensive academic training center that prepares prospective medical professionals for careers in healthcare (Robertwood Johnson University Hospital, n.d).

There is a host of types of healthcare organizations that provide exceptional care to patients. However, I choose hospitals because of their diversity, size, and the array of medical services they provide to the communities they serve. Hospitals show compassion, caring and are concern with the health and well-being of the patients they see, as well as, uphold excellence in quality, safety, and care. With good reputations and ranking nationally, I selected Robertson Johnson University Hospital and Saint Michael 's Medical 's Center as hospitals of my future career interest because of the types of medical services they provide to patients. Also, with my competencies skills and personality type, they will a good fit as places to work at in the future.
