The Rise of Hitler to Power

Hitler was and is a well known man, but not many know how he came to power. We know he killed thousands of Jews, but do we know why? The Holocaust was a monumental point in history; it not only started the Second World War but it also changed the lives of many Jewish survivors. Hitler was the highest ranked authority in Germany and could do whatever he wanted at the time. However, he did not just acquire this position immediately, he went through many changes in leadership before he finally rose to the top. Hitler had power over Germany, but what happened when he wanted to expand and take over other countries? He had many plans for Germany and dealing with the Jews was only part of his many plans, but did he successfully complete his goals? The Second World War started because Hitler rose to power, took over countries, and made goals for Germany and the surrounding land.
At a young age Hitler was considered crazy because of his dream of becoming famous and powerful (Tames 5). He was not successful in finding a sense of belonging until he became a soldier and was awarded with medals for his great bravery (Tames 13). Hitler became a trusted soldier and was invited to group meetings. In one of these political meetings Hitler spoke up and was very persuasive, so they asked him to join the Nazi group. He was not satisfied with being one of a few leaders and threatened to leave the group; he became the one and only leader of the group soon after (Tames 15-16). He then took things to the next level and ran for the presidential position. He lost the election but was ranked chancellor after he demanded the position in a secret meeting. ...to eliminate the Jews was unreasonable and very costly to the people around. Many people lost family members, friends, acquaintances because of the effectiveness of Hitler’s rule. Hitler’s rise to power, alliances with foreign countries, and control, affected not only the lives of the Jews but the lives of people all around the world.
