Introduction
Metabolomics is the ‘omics’ science of metabolism and its definition is in analogy with other part of biological science genomics, transcriptomics and proteomics. The metabolome or study of metabolites covers all the compounds formed in a biological system, from an organelle to a whole organism. Also, metabolome can be explained as the entire set of small molecules (non-polymeric compounds with a molecular weight less than ~1000Da) that are found in general metabolic reactions as byproduct and that are biosynthesized by a vital system like cell, tissue or organism. (Harrigan GG. 2003).
Metabolites are undergone by dynamic changes because they are sensitive to genetic or environmental changes. It is just one part of system biology that could be most useful because it allow us to observe the status of cellular. On the other hand, metabolites are a direct and whole picture of the inside the cell and vital mechanism and pathway.
Among all creatures, it is anticipated that there are about 100,000 compounds with a molecular weight lower than 1000 Da produced in different types of life. The metabolites are estimated to be about 3000 compounds in the human species. While, the numbers of genes are around 30,000, the number of transcripts is about 100,000 and it is estimated that there are up to 1,000,000 different proteins. With respect to limited number of the metabolome in comparison with other field of biological system, metabolomics provides data that are less complex and more quantitative than genomics, transcriptomics and proteomics.

There are drugs that are necessary for illnesses and healing but, there are medicines that cause concern regarding interaction and harming the body.
Enzymes are biomolecules that catalyze or assist chemical reactions. ("Enzyme Information - Disabled World", n.d.,) Without enzymes it would be impossible for an organism to carry out chemical reactions. Enzymes are proteins that carry a chemical reaction for a specific substance or nutrient. For example, the digestive enzymes help food to be broken down so it can be absorbed. Enzymes can either initiate the reaction or speed it up. Substrates are the chemicals that are transformed by enzymes. (Gunsch & Foster, 2014) Reactants are the chemicals in the absence of enzymes. Metabolic pathways that occur in a cell are determined by a set of enzymes which are selective for their substrates and catalyze only a few reactions among the many possibilities.

As a final point, the unknown secondary alcohol α-methyl-2-naphthalenemethanol had the R-configuration since it reacted the fastest with S-HBTM and much slower with R-HBTM. Metabolism occurs in animals and humans after the ingestion of organic plant or animal foods. In the cells a series of complex reactions occurs with oxygen to convert. There are numerous metabolic diseases that affect people all around the world. One of the most common metabolic diseases is diabetes which involves carbohydrate metabolism. Carbohydrate metabolism starts with digestion in the small intestine where simple carbohydrates are absorbed into the blood stream (1). Blood sugar (glucose) concentrations are managed by three hormones: insulin, glucagon, and epinephrine. When glucose concentrations in the blood become elevated, insulin is secreted by the pancreas. Insulin stimulates the transfer of glucose into the cells, especially in the liver and muscle tissue, although other organs are also able to process glucose (2).
